The house is situated on the southern slope of the Serra do Xistral (Biosphere Reserve), on the Northern Route of the Camino de Santiago (serving as a pilgrim hostel) between Abadín and Vilalba. It is a traditional stone house (from 1830), restored in 2016. It is a two-story building that can accommodate 17 people in rooms with bunk beds. It has three spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, one of which is adapted for the disabled, a kitchen, and a living-dining room.
