There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a charming log cabin from 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a barbecue hut and a sauna terrace. After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. The sauna section of the house has a room with overnight accommodation and a very good wood-heated sauna. The sauna wing was built in the 1970s and the surfaces of the sauna and shower room were renovated in the spring of 2023. Sleeps up to 5 people. Dog guests are also welcome for an additional fee

There is a big lake close to the cottage, pineforest and cross country skiing & hiking possibilities. The house is well equipped and modern. This is a good holiday house for families with children. There are two bedrooms, a balcony for sleeping, living room with one bed, sofas, dining table and kitchen, bathroom and sauna. You will see reindeer sometimes close to the house.

A short distance of less than 3 km to the municipal centre of Ylitornio, 6km to Swedish side Övertorneå for shopping. Around you will see beautiful valley landscapes on both the Finnish and Swedish sides. The Torne River is less than a kilometre away. On winter time you can enjoy snow right at your front door. We offer sledges free of charge.
