We had an incredible stay and will definitely be back. Made was so welcoming and professional - he also assisted with ordering dinner to our villa from a nearby restaurant which had the best food ever! Definitely a must stay, awesome view hidden in the jungle.

From the moment I arrived, I knew this place was something special. Tucked away in a quiet, peaceful setting, it offered the perfect escape from the usual hustle and bustle. The atmosphere was incredibly serene — birdsong in the morning, gentle breezes through the trees, and an overall sense of calm that made it hard to leave. The space itself was immaculate. Every corner was spotless, and you could tell a lot of care and attention had gone into maintaining the home. The cleanliness alone made it feel like a true sanctuary. What really made the experience stand out was Ariana, the host. He was absolutely perfect, so warm, attentive, and thoughtful in every interaction. From quick responses to helpful local recommendations, he struck the perfect balance of being available without ever feeling intrusive. It's clear he genuinely cares about her guests' experience. If you're looking for a peaceful, clean, and beautifully hosted stay, this is the place.

What can you say about this place?? An absolute delight!! We were lucky enough to have 5 nights and it was a real highlight for us and a beautiful place to make memories. The house itself is quite remarkable. The detail and natural flow make it so serene and calming to be in and you can tell it was built with care and love. Nyoman was kind enough to send pictures of the build and explained how they used only local trades to do the work which was important to them, and as a result you can feel the community within. Some people may not be fussed either way but for us it really added to experience. It’s: situated a perfect 5min drive out of Ubud and the village was the perfect antidote to the hectic pace of town. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and everything you need if you want to stay local. Nyoman was so generous and kind with our kids and genuinely wanted us to experience his community which was awesome. A beautiful man! Hopefully we’re back soon. Thank you!?

Ich hatte eine super Zeit bei Made, die Unterkunft war sehr geräumig und man hatte einen super Ausblick vom Balkon aus auf Meer, vor allem morgens zum Sonnenaufgang war es traumhaft. Die Umgebung ist Super viele interessante Shops und gute Restaurants. Das Meer ist quasi vor der Tür und viele Tauch und Schnorcheln Anbieter sind gleich in der Nähe. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder.

我们同行三人都非常喜欢这套别墅，花园风景很好，床铺柔软且每天有专人负责整理，两个房间内空调性能都很好，夜晚很舒适。 房东为我们准备了驱蚊水，即使有蚊虫也可以缓解。 周边有一些餐厅和按摩店，比较便利。 时不时可能会有小猫到访，我们都很爱见到她🥰只不过有时她可能会有点暴躁🥲大家要小心观察她的情绪，以免打扰到她。 房东很有耐心也很热心，为我们提供了非常好的住房体验。

This villa was perfect for our stay in Ubud! Peaceful and quiet but still close to the action. The private pool was a godsend on hot Ubud days. Kadek was a really helpful, friendly host: he arranged early check-in for us, transported our suitcase to the villa and sorted a scooter rental for our stay. He also provided super useful extras like plenty of insect repellant and emergency phone numbers. The villa is just off a strip of restaurants, so food is never far away, and it’s only a half an hour walk to central Ubud. We’d happily recommend this place to any couple!

This is an oasis. If you are looking to escape the craziness and want to be immersed in nature this is your spot. From organic veggies, the country chicken the local family prepared for us. We were so happy we found this hidden gem.

Wow, was für eine herzliche Familie. Die Eltern, die Kinder, Großeltern, sogar der Hund ... Es sind die freundlichesten, liebenswertesten und hilfsbereitesten Gastgeber und Balinesen, die wir auf Bali getroffen haben. Wir sind dankbar für den schönen authentischen gemeinsamen Abend und den offenen Austausch über das balinesische Leben. Sie haben uns unterstützt bei Erkrankung, sogar als wir schon in der nächsten Unterkunft waren. Nice to know: - ⁠Massagen daheim möglich oder im Spa von Kadek, der Mama der Familie - Ein Strand ist fußläufig in 3 min erreichbar, zum Lipah Beach sind es mit dem Roller ca. 5 min - Tolles Warung um die Ecke - Unterkunft abseits der Straße, kein Straßenlärm und damit idyllisch ruhig (neben den typischen Tiergeräuschen auf Bali wie krähende Hähne und bellende Hunde) Wir vermissen Ketut und seine Familie jetzt schon. Wenn wir wieder auf Bali sind, kommen wir definitiv wieder zurück. Diese Unterkunft ist eine echte Herzensempfehlung! Danke für Alles!

Our one week stay at Dani’s place was most enjoyable and relaxing. The home is set in beautiful, lush surroundings & garden, with lovely views of Mt. Agung from the rear patio. The home is very well set-up and equipped- loved the coffee machine - and well maintained. The pool was most welcome and very well used. Dani’s cooking was a highlight, with different delicious dishes each night and a beautiful breakfast each morning. Highly recommended 😀

I can’t fully put into words how special this place is to me and my family. We’ve made the most wonderful memories here, and it’s all thanks to Bart, Ayu, Putu, Edek, and the rest of the amazing team. If you're looking for a true oasis in Bali, this is it — tucked away in the jungle, peaceful and quiet, yet still within reach of everything thanks to Ari and the other wonderful drivers. We didn’t have to think about a thing. The ladies prepared the most incredible food for us every morning and evening (and even lunch when we needed it). They noticed our interest in the local dishes and kindly taught us how to cook some of them, which was such a special experience. A huge thank you to Ayu for helping us organize day trips and activities — she made everything so easy and also the contact with Bart prior our arrival made everything so easy. This is without a doubt one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. It will be hard to beat.

As so many have said before, this is a magical, enchanted place that offers an unforgettable experience to nature lovers and/or people who are sensitive to the special energy of Bali. The premises are vast and unique with an unusual temple complex right in the middle. The views from the cabin and the common area (bale structure for eating) are breathtaking. Each evening, just before sundown, we heard the village priest's chanting and gamelan orchestra, including a flute that sounded like it came from another world, travelling over from across the valley. If you're into this kind of thing, go next door, down to the river, for a special guided water purification ritual (melukat). Yes, communication was sometimes a bit tricky, but the staff are all so friendly and helpful, things always worked out. The place was squeaky clean, considering it's in the middle of the jungle. Food was thoughtfully cooked and pesented. We loved our time in Sangeh, suksma to everyone!

Wir waren für eine Nacht in dieser schönen Unterkunft. Sie war perfekt für Erholung. Es gab gratis Trinkwasser und ein sehr leckeres Frühstück. Wir haben auch die Möglichkeit genutzt, über sie Abendessen zu bestellen. Das gesamte Team war sehr nett und half uns ebenfalls, den Weitertransport zu organisieren. Es muss einem nur klar sein, dass es weiter weg vom nächsten Ort ist und mitten in der Natur ist.

To be honest the villa was so great we loved our stay so much and we could spend long long time inside chilling and cooking. The view was beautiful and the bedrooms were massive. They were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped too, a little bit shame that the fridge was stinking because of the veggies that were going bad inside. BUT one particular thing for everyone not to miss was the location. In the description it says that the turn is 180° and the host asked about “experienced driver”. There was no communication about the actual situation to go up there. It was not just small road, it was bumpy, steep, slippery and very sharp turn. The road had no space for mistakes, one wrong move and car would be off the cliff. Host could’ve communicated to offer a driver help 24 hours prior to arrival, they only asked about the type of car we have. There was no signal so we couldn’t call anyone, luckily there were people from construction to help us push the car up the hill.

Wow, where do we start? The location? Right on the beach, overlooking the ocean and mountains in the west. An easy 15 min walk through the rice paddies and vineyards (yes!) to Lovina township. Or the property itself? A house of impressive dimensions that fuses traditional Balinese architecture with western mod cons. Surrounded by tranquil gardens, water features and a super-clean 25m pool. Or the property’s staff? Kadek and Iluh will cook you meals - both Balinese and western - that are on a par with the best restaurants, incredible value. They go above and beyond to organise in-house massages, or have alcoholic beverages delivered (try the local wines: grapes shipped in from Australia, but pressed, fermented and bottled in Bali - very easy drinking). And Putu the driver, who will get you anyplace anytime - even to the Batur volcano at midnight so you can to reach the summit in time for sunrise. After nearly 100 Airbnb’s since 2015, Rodolpho’s place is instantly our favourite.

We had an absolutely incredible stay! The villa was stunning, even more beautiful than the photos, with breathtaking views and equipped with everything you need. Oliver, the host, was extremely responsive, helpful, and understanding throughout the entire booking and stay. They made us feel so comfortable and welcome. This was truly one of the best stays we've ever had in Bali. We can't recommend it enough!

I had a great stay at Gede’s place! It was clean, comfortable, and just a short walk to the beach, cafés, and restaurants. Gede was incredibly helpful and kind, which made the stay even better. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at Nomad Cottage, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The cottage was cozy, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect retreat. The surroundings were serene and picturesque, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The fully equipped kitchenwere fantastic and added so much comfort to our stay. We especially loved the stunning views The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, providing thoughtful touches like local recommendations. Communication was smooth, and all our questions were promptly answered. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Great Villa for six people with your own staff for cooking and security. You only pay for groceries. Very low prices for that. 6 people breakfast, lunch and dinner for just 500k!! Clean pool, clean rooms, no noise, fast service, flexible. Really a good stay on the east side of the island!!

Great little secluded spot for a quiet few days in the jungle setting. Would recommend a short stay for sure. Beautiful little tree house with a relaxed vibe and the hosts made the most amazing breakfasts and couldn’t do any more to help.

Die Unterkunft liegt zwar etwas abgeschieden, aber wir waren sehr begeistert von dem Ausblick. Man konnte direkt auf die Reisfelder schauen und hatte einen sehr ruhigen Ort. Da man abseits von Restaurants und Warung war, bestellten wir etwas zu essen, was aber auch super geklappt hat. Man beachte auch, dass man dort nicht so spontan abgeholt werden kann aufgrund der Lage. Wir würden wieder kommen und empfehlen diese Unterkunft.

This AirBnB is the oasis of Ubud. Edi and the staff we're all so attentive and lovely, there are immediate amenities, coffee shops and nice restaurants to check out, and you're not far from good walks, or visiting the town of Ubud itself. And did we mention the place itself is a palace? My partner, our daughter and I loved this listing, and will 100% stay here again if we're lucky enough!
