Descend the hill and take the South West Coast Path to the beach and relax to the sound of the waves lapping on the pebbles. A perfect place!

The windows overlook the village duck pond and spring and pretty waterfall. There is parking, for your car, at your door. We're in a Dorset village with Trafalgar history, centuries old church, busy pub. The coast is only a couple of miles away. We are on the Dorset Coastal Path and the SSSI Jurasic Coast. £7.50 for a full Dorset breakfast. Evening meal £7 to £12.

Enchanting Manor Coach House

An elegant, relaxed home in the grounds of the Manor in this AONB with walks directly from the house. The pretty village of Winterbourne St. Martin (Martinstown) has a great pub and a super village shop both within a short walk. Close to the Jurassic Coast and spectacular country views, its the perfect place to chill after a walk, a day at the beach (approx five miles away) or visiting the many attractions in and around Dorchester. Chesil Lodge Cottage is situated in the beautiful coastal hamlet of West Bexington, one of Dorset's best kept secrets, and just a stone's throw from the spectacular Chesil beach. The cottage is a comfortably appointed chalet with its own driveway, ample parking and enclosed private garden. There is a wooden veranda with sea and countryside views. Inside there is one double bedroom and a further bedroom with a double bed and single bunk above. There is also a sofa-bed in the lounge.

At the end of a no-through road on the edge of the village, this quiet upstairs annex has stunning dual aspect country views across the Bride Valley. The large (32m2), warm and spacious room includes a simple kitchen area and there is a separate bathroom. The annex sits above our garage, accessed via a shared rear hallway. Puncknowle is a quiet village less than 2 miles from the beach, perfectly situated to enjoy the Jurassic coast. The friendly Crown Inn pub is a 5 minute walk away.

Private entrance from village lane into property. In the heart of the Bride Valley so perfect for all year round walkers and nature lovers. Jurassic Coast 5 miles away. One of the richest areas in the UK for hill forts and ancient earthworks. Very houseproud so regrettably no pets and no smokers.

The Seaside Shepherd’s Hut

Fall asleep to the sound of waves on shingle in this stunning, hand-crafted oak shepherd’s hut. In winter the Hut is cosy with double glazing, a wood burner plus radiator. In summer relax on the deck to enjoy glorious views of Lyme Bay on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Nestling in my garden, Chesil Beach and the South West Coast Path are 30 seconds away down a private path. Watch magnificent sunsets over the bay and enjoy stargazing in our dark skies.

The Spar House

The Spar House is a tiny, historic cottage that is over 200 years old in the heart of Abbotsbury village. It is surrounded by wildlife and conveniently located at the edge of a public footpath, giving access to walks with stunning views of the surrounding area. With its own cottage garden, it’s an ideal place to sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty of Abbotsbury. It was originally used by the local thatcher ‘The Basket Maker’ in the 1920s.
