“Lovely, quiet space - ideal for one. Lots of little extras which really help you feel at home such a breakfast and fresh fruit. Very welcoming and helpful. Mobile phone reception a bit hit and miss which isn’t unusual for this part of Devon. Would happily stay and again and would recommend to others.”
The Barn at Port Farm is a unique and generous studio space. Originally a threshing barn, but recently converted by the owners into a modern space which respectfully retains the character and proportions of the original barn. The eclectic mix of quirky, vintage objects and art give the Barn its unique character. A perfect hideaway for couples looking for something a little out of the ordinary.
“Excellent location, just a few minutes outside Bideford yet feeling quiet and peaceful, as though we were miles from civilisation. The barn is just as described and shown in the photographs. It has a comfortable, cosy feel to it as soon as you walk through the door. Lucy was there to greet us, showed us round and explained how the wood burner worked. There plenty of logs and firelighters. Super comfy bed and sofas with throws, a very well equipped kitchen with large cupboard space, large garden and field for our dog to stretch her legs - it was all pretty perfect!”

“The kitchen looks out over the Quayside and Bideford's historic and handsome Long Bridge. The living room is equally well placed, cosy and elegantly furnished (leather sofa!). Comfortable double bed. Georgian architecture, so light and airy. You are a two minute walk from Mill Street, one of the best shopping streets in England, and further up the High Street, the covered market and nearby excellent local pubs and restaurants. Fabulous”
