Tällä mökillä on pitkä historia ja Saara ja Kosti olivat sen pitkäikäisimmät asukkaat. Ihka ensimmäiset asukkaat olivat kanoja, sillä rakennus oli alunperin kanala. Kylärannassa (300m) soutuvene odottaa seuraavaa soutajaa tai kalastajaa. Välittömässä läheisyydessä laiduntavat kesäisin lampaat perinnemaisemissa.
