Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Abruzzo

The accommodation was perfect, great location, close to walks, activities, historic sites and shops. There is a lakeside bar a short walk away. Views from the house looking out to Lake Scanno and the mountains are spectacular! Great hosts, very responsive. We stayed in Francesco's apartment from Thursday to Sunday and we had a great time! The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need, like staying at home! Monticchio is ten minutes from L'Aquila and half anhour from Fonte Cerreto, from which the cable car to Gran Sasso starts. The Gran Sasso is beautiful and, if you like nature, trekking, cycling or horseback riding, the location of the house is optimal to reach the natural attractions of the area. We had a great stay at Lamberto’s! Amazing place, everything was there and even more. Amazing views from the terrace. Real close to hikes and L’aquila and Gran Sasso (Corte Grande and Monte L’aquila). In real life the place is even nicer. Lamberto is quick with communciation ans recommendations!

Highly recommended! Excellent welcome on arrival, impeccable cleanliness! Absolutely nothing was missing! Sandra and her husband made us feel right at home! Lovely apartment in a quiet little village just a few minutes away from the motorway. We used it as a break between Ravenna and Naples but had we known that it was such a nice place we would have spent two nights here and explored the area. Our stay at Ellen and Gustav’s place will forever stay in our hearts. It was a transformative vacation, so much so that we now dream of creating something similar ourselves, someday, somewhere. The atmosphere, the energy, the style, the history, and the love that have been poured into this place are perfectly blended, making everything feel natural and special. Of course, there are small things that could be improved, but they are nothing compared to the immense sense of peace and well-being that the house and its surroundings provide. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every view, the silence, the beauty of the night atmosphere, everything spoke to us deeply. A heartfelt thank you also to Bice, the co-host, who welcomed us warmly and was always available and kind. We truly carry this place in our hearts and minds. Spacious, comfortable. Had screens on windows. Ivana was a wonderful host and was readily available. Felt like an Italian home, not a generic rental unit.

Renovated and very clean apartment, in an old panoramic villa with a large garden around, very well-kept. The apartment also has a nice terrace and convenient parking for the car, in a courtyard with an automatic gate. The place is very quiet and peaceful, just outside a small village, great for relaxing and feeling on vacation. The owner was very welcoming and kind, and also gave us useful directions to the surroundings. We had a great time.

Serena is very communicative and friendly. We had a wonderful stay. Perfectly located and so convenient to explore the area. Parking is right down the road and there is always plenty to find a spot!

Short stay in a beautiful and peaceful village in Abruzzo. The house contains everything you need and the garden with pool is very well laid out. The owners are lovely people who also own a restaurant in the center, which we recommend you try.

we stayed at Simonetta's house the week of Ferragosto. The accommodation is spacious, tastefully furnished and very well supplied with everything. The garden is lovely and very pleasant for dining. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. It looks even better than in the photos! Super peaceful & communication with the hosts was a deem. A little trouble with electricity but hey - it‘s rural Italy :) would definitely book again!

Nice accommodation with all necessary facilities, a big garden and a magnificent pool. Located in a quiet area with superb views on the surrounding mountains. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Beautifully restored old farmhouse with excellent amenities. Great swimming pool set in attractively-lit landscaped garden. Ombretta responded very quickly to all messages and was very friendly, as was Luciano (the caretaker). The mountains provided both a beautiful setting and some great hiking trails a short distance from the house.

We recently stayed at Roberto's Airbnb with friends for a week and a half, and it was an incredible experience. Roberto is a fantastic host. He provided invaluable suggestions for a beautiful motorbike ride through the mountains, enhancing our trip with local insights we wouldn't have found on our own. During our stay, Roberto also replaced the chlorine in the pool, ensuring it was always in pristine condition for us to enjoy. His attentiveness and willingness to help were remarkable, and he was always available whenever we needed anything. The house itself is perfect for four couples and kids. It offers plenty of space and a fantastic pool area that became the focal point of our relaxation and fun. The layout and amenities are thoughtfully designed to cater to groups, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend renting this house, especially with Roberto as your host. His dedication to ensuring a perfect stay makes all the difference!

We were greeted on December 24 by a beautiful snowfall . The farmhouse in its splendor pampered us for an abnormal but one of the most beautiful in life. A sweet fireplace to listen to. And a snow to experience. Beautiful place and both Enrico xhe Biagio were always available . Definitely worth going back to in the spring !
