Harul ~ a boutique homestay!

KaranRating, 5 stars23 months ago
Harul is an untouched place offering its serenity and calmness to its guests. This place is 40 kms away from Chakrata but man o man what amazing drive and view you get on the way to this homestay. The place is very peaceful and is right fit for you if you are looking for something earthy and soothing. The hosts Neelam, Rahul and their two pawsome pups Moscow and Mia are everything you want in such experiences i.e., friendly and interactive. They made us feel right at home. Neelam makes sure all the guests are very comfortable right from the time they set foot in the property and makes sure everyone eats on time and personally accompanies them on evening treks. Speaking of food, since the place is secluded with not much of food placed around, the food offered at the property is super tasty and feels like you are eating ghar ka khana and at a very nominal price. All in all this place is full of warmth because of the hosts and I can visit them again because it felt like home.

Bastiat Stays|A Rustic Getaway In Chakrata

We loved our stay at Ridgeview Cottages, Chakrata. The location, the staff and the food were all such a treat. Chakrata is basically a place where one comes to relax. This is the ideal place to do just that. Full marks for this property.

Homely stay in beautiful valley of Dehradun

ManojRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Our stay at this Airbnb was truly exceptional, thanks to the warm hospitality of Uncle and Aunty, the wonderful hosts. We arrived late at night, around midnight, and Uncle was awake and waiting for us. Not only did he ensure we felt safe, but he also stepped out to guide us to the property, which was a huge relief after a long journey. Aunty was equally wonderful, with her sweet demeanou and exceptional culinary skills. The food she prepared was beyond delicious, it genuinely felt like we were being cared for by family. The property itself was cozy, clean, and well-maintained, offering all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere was peaceful, and we appreciated the attention to small details that made the place feel like a second home. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay—somewhere that feels like a home with hosts who treat you like family—this is the perfect choice. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone and are already looking forward

Arvina home stay

ShubhamRating, 5 stars24 months ago
Arvina home stay, hosted by Arvina stands out firstly for its host, Arvina. Without her, this place wouldn't be what it is. She is a gracious host with great local recommendations, a delightful cook and a good conversationalist. The place is really clean and well set up. It's walkable from the Chakrata market and therefore close to most everything. Getting luggage up is a little hard with the Chakrata streets and the steps. That would be my only concern. otherwise the place is amazing. I wouldn't mind visiting again.

A family suite at Katapatthar.

SagarRating, 5 stars13 months ago
I have been to a lot of Airbnbs & this was easily one of the most unusual ones. Reading the reviews I got to know there is some history associated with the place. Apparently, someone from a royal Nepal family relocated here way back in 1931 & spent the rest of his years at this place until his death in 1993. Our room didn't capture much of this history though, except for a booklet written in 1942. However, the dining room was full of stuff from the 20th century. We found a well maintained visitor book there. The place has been having visitors since over 60 years! Located in a village in Katapathar & about 400 m from Yamuna river, the property is an interesting relic of the past. It's great for someone looking to spend time away from the city. Though both of us felt that TV/free wi-fi can be provided. The caretakers were great & the food was fabulous. We had a good time at the place.

Weddings, Haldi, Roka, Corporate events Dehradun

ShaleenRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Dinesh is a great host. His place is a premium hostel/boarding house that is a great pick for individuals. The caretaker, Govind, is a great cook and is available at all times. There's a cafe located next to this place which is quaint, pocket-friendly, and run by a very nice lady who can bake a treat. Highly recommended for people looking for a cost-effective accommodation in a peaceful and green location.

Dopaar By The Brook

JyotiRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Our stay at Dopaar by the Brook was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene setting and warm hospitality. The location is a perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty, ideal for families, friends, or solo travelers escaping city life. The room was clean and spacious, with wooden ceilings and walls adding charm. The cozy atmosphere, beautiful dining spaces, and delicious food made our stay delightful. The brook added a soothing soundtrack, and the outdoor seating areas were perfect for relaxing. Special thanks to our host Nikhil, who was incredibly responsive. He promptly arranged an affordable vehicle for us from Dehradun to Chakrata. Kudos to Niresh for picking us up, showing us around, and sharing fascinating stories about the places we visited. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful and safe retreat. A request to all tourists: Please be responsible and do not litter with plastic waste. Respect nature and the local community.
