Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Adirondack Mountains

We had an awesome time at Landon’s property. The kids loved interacting with and feeding the farm animals, specially the horses and sheep. The caboose was a pleasantly unique experience with great views, mood lighting, and comfortable beds. Girls loved going up and down the sturdy ladder to the loft bed in the cabin. The cabin is very thoughtfully appointed, with hot water supply and made our stay very comfortable despite the overcast weather. Our girls are looking forward to be back again soon to spend more time with the farm animals. Landon was always quick to respond and house info / instructions were succinct.

We loved our stay at Reinaldo’s place! The location was so serene and just perfect for a little getaway from downstate. They keep it very clean and in order and are responsive hosts! Our favorite moments were taking the kayaks out onto the lake, barbecuing dinner, and sitting by the campfire at night. Truly lovely.

Friends and I stayed at Julius’ place for the Blackfly Bike Race, it was conveniently located for the race and well suited for a weekend with friends. Nice amenities and beautiful views as well.

Had a nice 3 day weekend at the yurt with my girlfriend and dog. The yurt was nice and cozy. The skylight at the top was nice for looking at the sky at night. We cooked every meal there and found the kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed. The flow of the brook provides nice background noise for outdoor fires. Had a great time and it was a good basecamp for lots of activities in the area.

This was an excellent place to stay on Lake Champlain. The house was kid friendly, which was perfect for our three young kids. They felt right at home. It was an easy walk to the peaceful, quiet beach. We hope to come back again next summer!!

Beautiful cabin in the woods that isn’t too far from anything but feels isolated just the same. Terrific base of operations to access many trailheads, Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Restful and low maintenance stay. We would recommend and visit again.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming mushroom home in Pownal! The space was incredibly cozy, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. Everything was thoughtfully designed, which made it easy to relax and feel at home. One of the highlights, in addition to the house, was the beautiful yard, which turned out to be a birdwatcher’s dream. I spent hours outside enjoying the fresh air and spotting all kinds of birds; it truly felt like a nature retreat.

Wonderful retreat in a beautiful location. The unit was impeccable, attractive, and nicely furnished as part of the owner’s own home. We host our own personal family cabin as a vrbo and were so pleased to receive the same kind of quality and personal care that we offer to our guests. Lynne’s home exudes pride of ownership and special touches (snacks and one very nice breakfast with hosts) were offered to us. I’m their first guest who is vegan; Lynne went above and beyond to make me a tasty oatmeal breakfast. Can’t give enough stars to rate this very attractive, yet affordable, rental unit. Audrey’s Porcupine Farm Barn was the perfect place for us and our pup to get some respite from our day to day grind. With scenic vistas outside our window the space was an ideal blend of rustic and comfortable, and Audrey was around to answer any questions and assist us whenever we needed. We would absolutely stay again - and hopefully will soon!

a very nice and quiet place for me and my friends to relax! the river was sooo beautiful townake up to in the morning and we all made some s'mores by the campfire! right next to a nice restaurant and a Stewart's so we could even get everything we needed for the fire! would come back here again and thanks for letting us stay!

I have nothing bad to say about Devons place. Everything looks like the pictures. I highly recommend it if you are going upstate and wanna stay in a quiet and peaceful area Saranac lake is the place! Many places around to explore.

Our stay was peaceful and what we needed! We spent a lot of time outside kayaking and fishing so it wasn’t too important where we stayed - but wow. I am so thankful to have stayed with Kevin! Everything we needed and more was available in a clean modern space close to town! After our long days out and about it was nice to come back and be able to throw some food on the grill and lounge on the couch. Although we don’t plan on returning to the area, I 10/10 recommend this space for anyone looking!

My friends and I were in town for a CrossFit competition, and this Airbnb was perfect! It was a short walk to Main Street, Mirror Lake, and our competition venue, which made everything super convenient. The beds were comfortable, the furniture was great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was also quick to respond and super helpful. Lake Placid was absolutely beautiful, and we would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay! :)

Beth was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful with all the little touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. The location was peaceful and conveniently located. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We love staying here and have for years. It’s one of the best getaway spots in the ADK. Sandy is Ana amazing host, too. We will be back!

This was our second time staying at Caitlyn’s condo in Killington, we chose it again for a reason !! The vibe of the condo is super relaxing, the decor is thoughtful and cool. The fire place makes coming back after a day on the slopes so cozy! We love coming to Killington and this condo is so close to the snowshed lot, it’s perfect!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Rafael's condo. The space was very clean and comfy, and exactly matched the description and photos posted here. The fireplace was a great draw, too. If you're planning on skiing at Mt. Snow, the Moover shuttle bus stop is located right outside of this building, which made for a very convenient and quick way to get to Mt. Snow for my family of 4. We would certainly stay here again in the future.

Stunning location a short walk through lovely Congress park to downtown Saratoga. Scrumptious bakery in easy walking distance. The apartment was delightful: very clean with all the essentials stocked. We loved being able to stop back in during the day for a quick recharge before getting back into the middle of everything. Bright and sunny during the day and quiet and peaceful at night.

We had a wonderful stay at this Air Bnb. A lot of privacy and full access to any amenities that we needed. Everything was up to date and well put together. Our only issue was someone was walking around with a flashlight late at night, not sure if it was a security guard or whatnot but they got into our backyard and around the house so it seemed a little off. Other than that it was everything we wanted.

Such a unique stay! David gave very helpful instructions for arriving and getting to the property, even supplied photos for extra assistance. The property itself is cozy and in a great part of the city. There’s lots to do nearby, super walkable, and David provides great local recommendations. The shared gallery space was so cool to see too. Great experience!

Great accommodations! Kitchen was fully stocked, and the popcorn station was such a great added touch. Coffee in the morning on the little patio looking out over the St. Lawerence river was so peaceful. I will definitely be staying again on my next visit.

Claudia was super responsive and the place was amazing!! Within 5 minutes of a lot of great restaurants and very close to great hiking trails. Would love to come back again!
