Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Aegean Islands

Die Kommunikation mit Electra war super. Nachdem wir ihr gesagt haben, wann wir ankommen, hat sie uns an der Straße in Empfang genommen und zum Haus begleitet. Dort hat sie uns alle Räumlichkeiten gezeigt, zudem gab’s ein Gastgeschenk. Sie hat uns nützliche Informationen zur Erkundung der Umgebung gegeben. Elektra ist ein sehr gastfreundlicher und liebevoller Vermieter. Das Haus selbst war sauber und die Betten komfortabel. Von der Dachterrasse konnte man das Meer erblicken. Die Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen🙂

Wir waren 1 Woche in diesem bezaubernden Haus. Die Terasse ist großartig und der Blick atemberaubend schön. Das Haus selber ist mit viel Liebe ausgebaut und du hörst nur das rauschen des Meeres und das zwitschern der Vögel. Es ust alles vorhanden was man braucht. Alles hat einfach zu 100 Prozent gepasst. Es gibt einen wunderschönen Strand etwas einen 5minütigen Spaziergang vom Haus hinunter. Hinauf dauert es ca. 8 Minuten ist aber gut zu bewältigen. Der Weg lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Das Einkaufen ist auch kein Problem, in der größeren Stadt Akyaka, ca 20 Minuten mit dem Auto, gibt es einen gut sortierten Migros, einen Metzger und eine Bäckerei. Man kann das gut mit einem Restaurantbesuch verbinden. Für uns war es perfekt. Ali ist ein super netter junger Mann und seine Familie ebenso. In seinem Restaurant, etwa 5 Minuten mit dem Auto richtung Atyaka, gibt es ganz feine Gözleme. Die muss man einfach gegessen haben. Wir haben uns so willkommen gefühlt! Vielen Dank dafür! What an amazing location! Right where you want to be but a little outside of the main crowds. Alekos has great communication and ensures you are taken care of the entire trip. He owns the bakery at the top of the stairs from the Airbnb and provides fresh breakfast pastries every morning… they were excellent! He also helped us with transportation and restaurant recommendations. He does it all! The space was nice and cozy while also very clean. It was perfect for my wife and I on our honeymoon. We would highly recommend Alekos as a host and place to stay!

Absolutely breathtaking views.Thanos was a wonderful host.He was very easy and prompt with communication.I would highly recommend.If I ever to return to Mykonos I would stay there again.

Omdat ons verblijf de vorige keer (drie jaar geleden) erg goed was bevallen, keerden we terug naar Evia Fox House. Het was wederom fantastisch: een prachtige en smaakvolle villa, privé maar wel met uitzicht en met zwembad, en veel ruimte in en om het huis. De communicatie met Dimitra verliep vlot en heel prettig. We hadden hoge verwachtingen (na ons eerste bezoek) en die zijn wederom helemaal uitgekomen. De omgeving biedt allerlei bezienswaardigheden (kloosters, kerkjes, stranden, bergen, steden, opgravingen) maar we genoten er ook van om thuis te blijven in deze prachtige villa en tuin.

Absolutely magical! Roula’s stone house is an incredibly picturesque and charming place to stay. The terrace is a dream – shaded naturally by a tree and offering a stunning view of the sunset. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished, with everything you might need. A little heads-up for tall people: the doorway to the terrace is a bit low – you might want to duck (don’t worry, we laughed every time!). There are some fantastic tavernas just around the corner, and it’s the perfect starting point for scenic hikes through the area. We loved every minute of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Wir waren zu dritt in der Unterkunft, um Freunde in Karystos zu besuchen. Es war alles prima. Ein wunderschöner Strand am Fuß des Berges, nach Karystos rund sieben Minuten mit dem Auto, das für Euböa erforderlich ist. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, die Lage sehr ruhig mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Bucht. Wir würden es demnächst wieder buchen wollen. :-)

Olimme ennen kesäsesongin alkua. Muita turisteja ei montaa näkynyt. Ilmat olivat ihanteelliset. Meidän viiden hengen perheelle villa ja sen kolme makuuhuonetta oli juuri sopivan kokoinen. Oli kiva yllätys, että villalla oli myös muurattu ulkogrilli ja pizzauuni. Mutkainen pikkutie perille oli saavuttaessa pimeässä yllätys ja meinasi jo usko loppua. Olisi ollut kiva, jos joku taverna tai/kauppa olisi ollut kävelymatkan päässä. Meillä oli vain yksi kuljettaja. Viikko meni nopeasti ja kivaa oli. Suosittelemme muillekin perheporukoille.

This airb&b was AMAZING! Views were incredible. Host was great and responded quickly and we rented a car from the son which was 40€ per day. Host arranged someone to meet us at the port and showed us to our room. Truly, the only downfall was that the bed was incredibly firm (one of the worst beds I’ve slept in) but the views totally made it worth it! We felt very safe and would definitely stay again!

We had the BEST time ever staying here! Stamatis went above and beyond—he picked us up from the airport, gave us amazing recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The house itself was amaaaazing with so many thoughtful amenities, plus fresh fruits, snacks, and drinks waiting for us when we arrived. It honestly felt like staying in a 5-star hotel. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk from the port, restaurants, and shops. We felt so well taken care of and would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Milos. Don’t think twice, book it!! THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING STAY!

We wish we had more time in Ios! Hugh’s place is amazing and we were very pleased with the hospitality. We missed our ferry, causing us to miss out on a day in Ios, and Hugh was kind enough to refund us some money since we missed out on a day. The views from the balcony are so beautiful, the private pool is lovely, and the inside was decorated so cute!

Absolutely loved our stay! It was very easy to walk into town from the appartement. Everything looks exactly like in the pictures, and we loved the balcony! Will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay in Paros! The place was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located — close to everything we needed and a great base for exploring the island. What truly made the experience exceptional was our host. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly welcoming and hands-on. He took the time to sit down with us and review the island, pointing out must-see spots, local favorites, and hidden gems we would’ve never found on our own. On the day of our departure, he even walked us to the port and helped carry our luggage — such a kind and thoughtful gesture that went above and beyond. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more seamless experience. Highly recommended!

Loved our stay! Place was clean, view were gorgeous and the bathroom was cool in that you could see out into the ocean while showering but people couldn't see in. Host was flexible and helpful! Would stay again. PS dont be alarmed going into a rental car place to check into the Airbnb. The Airbnb itself is not directly above and was quiet and peaceful for our stay.

Ich kann das Apartment von Gigi zu 100% empfehlen! Die Kommunikation war von Beginn an super, klar und angenehm. Die Einrichtung entsprach den Bildern und wurde durch liebevolle, lokale Produkte (u.a. Honig, Marmelade) ergänzt. Es gab einen täglichen Reinigungsservice und die Lage war zum Erkunden der Insel perfekt. ☺️ Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und immer wieder eine Reise wert!

We absolutely loved it here. We looked all over the island and found the best view on the island for sunsets was on our balcony. The breakfasts were not anything crazy but more than adequate and we loved having them delivered to our room each morning. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it however there are a couple of slightly negative things worth mentioning. The smell: the back porch did have a scent that was mentioned in other reviews. It’s a sewage smell. It’s not pleasant. But was limited to the balcony and seemed to be dependent on the wind. We made a joke about it because when we smelled it, we always knew we were close to “Home”. The hot tub is not hot. It’s warm and we used it every day but be aware… it’s not “hot”. Lastly… communicating with the hosts prior to our arrival was a bit challenging. Responses were quite slow but once we arrived and started communicating with Sotiris in country, it was no problem. Sotiris was amazing and made everything easy

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Athens! From the moment we arrived, our host was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. She struck the perfect balance of being available whenever we needed help, yet always respecting our privacy, something we truly appreciated. The apartment itself was stunning, tastefully decorated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the pool, which we had the pleasure of enjoying throughout our stay. It felt like our own little oasis in the city. Another thoughtful touch was the welcome basket, such attention to detail! It was clear that a lot of care and consideration went into making our stay special. And a special thank you to our host for being so patient and kind when we (more than once!) forgot our keys. She never made us feel like a burden and always helped with a smile. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. We can’t recommend it highly enough ❤️

I can’t say enough about this spectacular apartment, its view, and location! Absolutely breathtaking! It’s right in the heart of everything you’d want to see about Ancient Greece in Athens! Short walking distance to the Acropolis and so much more. I would easily stay here again and highly recommend to others!

The private access to the sea stands out. Great location with the bnb being right in the middle of the city centre

A lovely modern condo in the heart of Heraklion. Located next to a mini market and delicious bakery, this spot is in a great location. We especially loved the rooftop space!

I can't imagine a better place to stay than this apartment in Athens! We will definitely stay again when we are in Athens. It beautifully designed, has all the amenities you need and then some and has the most beautiful balcony with a view of the Acropolis. Plus the host is so kind, helpful and responsive!! We are a family of 4 and it was perfect.

This is place is great for people who love the beach . Walkable to a lot beach beach club but away from the noise. Host is very responsive and very helpful . Super clean, the Private pool with a view and the bar service is outstanding. Everything is outstanding highly recommended.

This place is amazing. The view is a dream. Location is excellent. Close to restaurants and iconic places to visit. Peaceful at night and spacious. Looks better in person. I would give a 10 score if it was available. When visiting Athens this is the place to stay. Even more if you are a family. They made accommodations for baby guests. This is the third Airbnb in our 17 day trip and by far the best. Amazing service. Superb host.

This was the best Airbnb rental we have experienced. The host thought of everything and made our stay feel even better than a hotel! The location is unparalleled, the little details of snacks and water and wine in the fridge. What an extremely hospitable host and property! Easy to check in, check out was also a breeze. Can’t recommend enough.
