Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Afon Mawddach

We have a lovely stay in Barmouth! The property is wonderful, clean and in perfect location. Stephen was so friendly and helpful with suggestions. He was happy for us to bring our dog with us. I would definitely come and stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at Joan’s place. Check in was easy and communication was great. The place is perfect for a week long holiday or longer - it has everything you need to cook and relax. It’s a perfect location to access Snowdon etc. We loved it so much we stayed longer than planned. Would definitely recommend. Thanks so much Joan!

Anne’s place was great and ideal for our needs. Lovely, comfortable and clean with clear written instructions on arrival and great comms throughout. We were looking for a base to visit Portmeirion and this was ideal….short walk to Harlech station and a 20 minute coastal train journey (we chose not to drive). The Queens Hotel by the station offered a friendly pit stop on the way back :) Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful anniversary weekend, basing ourselves at The Stables. It’s private, quirky and cosy; but you’re also at the end of the yard, with the family’s dogs and horses. We sat on a lovely bench in the evening sunshine, drinking a bottle of fizz and listening to the birds - just perfect. Thank you to Mike and Joanna for a lovely place to stay.

The farmhouse is gorgeous in a very remote location which we love, its so pretty, the garden is well kept and the surrounding views are lovely, the singing of the birds, the buzzing of the bees and the ocassional noises from the farm life are very comforting. The garden is very private and if the weather was a little drrary you could enjoy the piggery (sunhouse). Thete was a bbq alrrady to use and even charcoal. We wete so lucky with the weather. The house was spottlessly clean with everything you needed. We would definitely visit here again. Our dogs are knackered from running atound the gatden and enjoying the surrounding walks. Would highly recommend this property you definately wont be disappointed ♥️

We absolutely loved Deborah's place felt right at home when we walked in. There is everything you need from day one. The local area is lovely for walks and the beach is across the road. Even when it was wet and windy it was a pleasure to sit upstairs and watch the sea. You are easy reach into Snowdonia by car?, Zip world( definitely have a go) and even easier for a trip to Caernarfon. Deborah's recommendations for eating out are spot on especially the BRAF cafe next door, lovely home made breakfast with plenty of choice and amount. Looking forward to coming back. From start to finish our stay was perfect. Relaxing setting for the adults and plenty to do around the area for the children. Our children loved the cows daily visit. The house was spotless with everything you could need. Check in and check out were stress free. Gwen and her husband are friendly and left us to it. Highly recommend for your visit to Wales! An absolute favourite place to be. Mountains, estuary, seaside, walks, bike rides. Looking out over the estuary we feel like the only people there, away from the roads. Peaceful, in fact idyllic is not an exaggeration. A great place to make family memories. We had perfect blue skies and so clear at night we could see every star in the sky 😊

I had a fabulous stay at Ann's place. It's very light and airy and the space has been well thought-out. I had everything I needed. It's both private and well-located for access to the beach and other amenities. Also a great location for access to the Snowdonia National Park (I highly recommend Beddgelert), Portmeirion and the Llŷn peninsula. Ann was very friendly and welcoming. Will certainly be coming back again next year.

Lovely location minutes from the centre of Dolgellau, and a quick drive to Barmouth harbour +beach. Everything in place for a Welsh getaway. Friendly and welcoming host.

We had a great few days at Carol’s place. The location is awesome and the apartment well equipped, comfortable and peaceful. We loved relaxing at the bay window overlooking the sea watching the ever changing landscape. Carol was so welcoming and there if you needed her yet otherwise unobtrusive. She gave us the heads up when dolphins were basking in the bay which was appreciated and a real treat to observe. A great location for various activities including local golf courses which we enjoyed. Overall a wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect. The annexe was exactly as described. It was very comfortable. Our hosts were perfect too. Will definitely stay again and also recommend ro friends and family. Loved how well dogs are catered for too. Bryn loved the basket of toys.

The accommodation was in a great location with great views and so peaceful even though it was so close to the town. The hot tub was great and we weren’t overlooked by anyone.

One of the best experiences I've had with Airbnb/apartment bookings by far. Sue & Pete are an incredible couple who frankly treat you as if you're their family. Communication from day one was top notch and very detailed instructions were given as to the location of the property and where to park, which made arrival very easy. Upon arrival we were greeted by Sue who promptly gave us a guided tour of the property, as well as the little touch "extras" such as the (huge) treat hamper and a number of free drinks. Location-wise it couldn't really be more pefectly positioned - not 1 minute from the Britannia Bridge and between Snowdonia and the rest of Anglesey - which was absolutely ideal for our trip. The apartment was quiet, homely and very relaxing - Sky TV being included was a huge bonus. The gardens are vast and red squirrels can be spotted regularly. Honestly it feels so much like a home from home. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and would recommend to anyone else!!

Chris was an incredibly kind and welcoming host! The home had beautiful views of the mountains with space to walk by the river and picnic right on the doorstep. We managed to see a lot of snowdonia while staying, as well as many birds and cats in the garden. The space was very clean and we really appreciated the eco friendly and sustainable ways Chris and Julie have set it up. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone else wanting to be immersed in peace and nature!

Enjoyed our stay was perfect for us and our golden doddle Bee. Neighbours were friendly and helpful and other guests really nice . Loved our walk to the next village and great cafe pub restaurant on the beach. Everyone was was so friendly 👍

Lovely little studio within walking distance of the village. We got a nice Thai takeaway . Comfy bed and cozy sitting area. Everything was spotlessly clean. The studio is a 15/20 minute drive from so many places and excellent value for money. Paula got back to us super quickly as we were running late on the day of arrival. We would stay again if wanting to visit Harlech or Portmerrion. Thanks Paula

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Clare’s apartment. It had all we needed and was really clean and welcoming. The location is great and we were to and from the beach lots! Lots of lovely touches in the flat and we so appreciated the prosecco and other bits that were left for us. Communication with Clare was clear and friendly. We will definitely hope to come again.

Micheal and Tracy greeted us on arrival and were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was really spacious for two people. We had a lovely airy apartment in the eaves. The grounds were really special and include a beautiful clear stream. It was an easy walk into Betws-y-coed and to the start of The Fairy Glen (it was after you got through the gate it was more of a challenge!) and absolutely stunning place. Highly recommended, would love to take our family.
