Das Haus liegt einzigartig auf einem Hügel mit 5000 qm Land und bietet Weitblick in alle Richtungen, aufs Meer, Gebirge und Täler. Der 20 Jahre alte Garten mit Palmen, Kakteen, Oleander und Oliven ist großzügig angelegt. Das ca. 80 qm große Haus ist traditioneller Steinbau, komplett renoviert und modern eingerichtet. Der Salzwasser-Pool (8 x 3,5 m) kann beheizt werden. Zum Dorf Kamilari (Supermarkt, Bars, Restaurants) fährst Du 5 , zum Kommos Beach 10 Minuten und zum Flughafen Heraklion 1 h.

Only 7km away from the city of Heraklion, it is an ideal place for couples' & families' vacation. The nearest beach is 13km away. Wine and olive oil enthusiasts will find wineries, presses and mills around the area. It's a great starting point to explore the whole island of Crete. Villa Bougainvillea is an old stone house that was build in early 19th century and was renovated recently. It is 10 minutes away from the famous beaches of Matala, Kommos,Agiofarago, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos and Kaloi Limenes. Because it’s in the south part of Crete, even in the windy days you can find a beach that’s calm enough for swimming. The Minoan palace of Faistos, the archeological site of Gortyna, the cave-graves of Matala are also only 10 minutes away.
