Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

A heated bathroom with shower is just a short walk through forest path.

This suite is located on a quiet street and within easy walking distance to Powell Lake, to a lovely ocean beach, our local brewery and a boutique mall with cafe, bakery, grocery store and other cool shops. The space has wonderful amenities including a spa-worthy bathroom, a well equipped kitchen and two patio spaces.

It has a very comfortable Queen size bed and feather down duvet, heating, outdoor hot water shower & sink, an outhouse toilet, barbecue, two burner propane stovetop, wifi, and Bluetooth speaker. In this spacious cottage style home you will be able to enjoy the privacy of this cozy space which is set on a beautifully landscaped 1 acre property. Conveniently located close to town, shopping, the recreation centre, walking distance to trails, lakes and the ocean. Upon arrival you will see that the winding driveway leads to the blueberry orchard and where we call home.

The We Cabin is a peaceful and cozy hideaway; nestled in nature, yet conveniently located to all the Comox Valley has to offer. Five minutes away from YQQ, Little River Ferry Terminal, beautiful beaches, trails, downtown Comox, brew pubs and wineries - and less than 30 minutes to Mount Washington.
