This is a beautiful newer build with great attention to detail. This includes a private bedroom, bathroom and well-appointed kitchen with everything you could possibly need for a perfect vacation. This property is 10 blocks from high-cliff ocean, on the dead-end side of the street, with very little traffic. The lanai overlooks our 1-acre avocado orchard with 70 avocado trees, lychee, papaya, mango, banana, pineapple, mandarin, spinach and lemongrass. Please ask my husband, Jason, what is ripe.

Charming Rainforest Cottage

Surrounded by orchids and other tropical flowers, the cottage is located on two lovely landscaped acres - 30 minutes from Hilo or Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The property is solar powered, an off-grid sustainable system with 4G phone service and fiber optic wifi. The last two miles are on unpaved gravel road in variable condition depending upon how much rain we've had lately. Four wheel drive isn't necessary but an SUV or similar vehicle with higher clearance is recommended.

We have two large dogs, Jack & Boogie, and many cats. They bark and will be excited to meet you. If you aren't comfortable around large dogs this is not the place for you. Animal noises, including coqui frogs, are part of this rural space. You agree to all "House Rules" by instantly booking.
