The school house cabin is located next to the Plum Creek Wildlife Management Area and 22 miles from the Niobrara River and 13 miles from Ainsworth, NE.

We are a mere ten minutes from the Calamus River and Calamus Lake (west end) which offers tanking, tubing, boating, and beaching. Bootleg Brewers is our neighbor to the south, only a 20 minute drive. This is a birders paradise! Bald eagles, prairie chickens, and a plethora of other species to observe will be waiting out your window. Star-gazers will find our night skies free of light pollution. Nature awaits!
