Holiday rentals with a patio in Akaroa

Lovely modern apartment with great amenities. Amy was super helpful with instructions for check in and was always responsive. We were only there for 1 night before heading to the airport so unsure about distance to the centre but with a car it's a great location, perfect walking distance to the food market

We had the best weekend in the city celebrating a birthday and just loved Sue and Jeff’s fabulous apartment. We arrived to a birthday card and a bottle of bubbly, such a thoughtful touch and we loved all the other little extras that were provided. It was the most perfect location and we loved coming back to our warm, cosy and very relaxing abode at the end of the day. We will definitely return. Thanks Sue and Jeff.

Logan’s place is a quiet gem in the city. Extra small touches such as coffee vouchers for the close by Monks cafe add value to a great stay. This the second time we have stayed here and will certainly return again. The black out blinds in the bedroom ensured a dark room and restful sleep in the comfortable bed. Layout is great and the place always clean and tidy. Street parking can be a challenge but we always find a park in the end that’s not too far away.

This place is a gem! It had everything I needed for my 5 night stay. And so many things are within easy walking distance (cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, parks, museums). If I ever return to Christchurch, I’d love to book it again.

This is a wonderful find - a cozy and comfortable interior, well appointed for all your creature comforts and a view over the CBD. A short walk to all that the Christchurch CBD has to offer - the salt district, riverside market and new regent street - so many wonderful dining and entertainment options. I'll look for this place again on my next visit.

We had a lovely time at Lynette & Ken’s house. We had all the privacy one could want and Lynette & Ken were quick with their communications and really helpful. They are lovely helpful people who made a real effort to connect if we reached out. The bed was SO comfortable, with nice sheets and good pillows. The bathroom is top spec, better than 5 star motels in the quality of materials. The kitchen had everything we needed. The TV was easy to use. We appreciated all the local area recommendations. Fantastic generous hosts, we’d stay here again without hesitation. Thanks Lynette and Ken!

A great location for access to central Christchurch. The townhouse is delightful, sunny and comfortable. Really appreciated being able to park off the street. Barry and Sue were very helpful and informative.

Such an amazing spot, and the view from the shower is stunning! Parking does require a bit of maneuvering, but the house is comfy and really well set up. We loved it

I loved my stay here! The bach is cosy and warm with a nice homely feel to it. Someone else in their review mentioned the muesli and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed that as well! The highlight for me was how peaceful and quiet it was out there, and with the beach so close and lots of walking tracks to explore it was the perfect staycation I needed to get out of the city for a few days. I would highly recommend staying here and I hope to be back soon myself!

What a hidden gem this property is! We immediately felt right at home. Beautifully appointed with all listed amenities. The beds were so comfortable and everything was super clean and tidy. Lovely and quiet and the surrounding garden is beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended.

The house is gorgeous and we felt it was a privilege to stay there. The morning coffee watching the sunrise was a real treat. The attention to details and the extra starter supplies were a real special touch. The house was amazing and opening the Oceanside doors brought nature to us! We will stay again!!!

What a beautiful home in a unique location. Our three generations gathered from three countries for a lovely 5 days together in Christchurch. The views from all levels of this home are over the top. With high end cookware, two dishwashers and (my personal favorite and usual airbnb pet peeve) sharp knives, we grilled and gathered for “dinners in” every night instead of going out. Great access to governors bay pier and coffee/pizza just a short walk away. Loved this place so much and would return in a heartbeat.

Yvonne was an amazing host! We were kindly offered early check in and late check out! The house is stunningly decorated/renovated. The views are awesome. As I was travelling for work I really appreciated having a dual screen setup I could plug into with a wireless mouse and keyboard with a docking station. Smart TV meant we could watch our usual shows. The two heat pumps did a great job of keeping us warm on a miserable day, and the wall heaters in the bedrooms took the edge off any cold night temps. I’d highly recommend anyone stay here - be it for work or family time, it’s well kitted out for both!

It was a great start to our family vacation in NZ. Amy’s place is cosy, clean and comfortable. Beds are comfy and with hotel quality linen…plus bakery and coffee shop downstairs, it definitely helps to start the day on the right foot. It is also located opposite Holey Moley - the mini -golf venue. We had so much fun with our 8 yo boy there:-) Thank you for a lovely stay, Amy. We also appreciate you allowed us to check in early in the morning on this occasion.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Susan’s! The house was spacious and adequately equipped. It was also very well located as it’s a very short drive and probably about 10-15min walk to the central city! Susan was also a great host — she’s very quick to respond to our queries, gave clear and easy instructions for checking in/out, and overall made our stay very enjoyable!

Great place. Excellent location, has an off street parking spot. Right in the city, walk to e writhing. Beautiful afternoon sun to patio area, really recommend this pls e to have a nice stay in Chch. Very clean, very new, spotless and modern.

Accommodation was in a great location opposite the park. Apartment was as described. Easy walk into city. Really enjoyed staying there.

Phenomenal, pristine apartment in a great location by the Margaret Mahy playground and New Regent St. An easy walk to Riverside market. The apartment was incredibly comfortable and absolutely spotless.

Amazing stay for a couple of weeks / location was terrific and the condo itself is warm, stocked with everything needed, has great linens and exactly what I needed. Rachel’s communication was amazing and she was always available.
