We accept reservations for 2 or more people. Seizekan, a farmer's inn, is located in the mountains about 25 minutes by car from Kakunodate, Akita Prefecture, and a 15-minute walk from Hachimangu Naganodairu Station on the Akita Inland Railway. Surrounded by rice fields, it is a quiet and natural environment. We renovated the second floor of a farm work shed that used to be a cowshed, and created an accommodation space with a kitchen, bath, and toilet. This space is for one group of guests per day. Some people say, "It's like returning to my parents' house." In the summer, we recommend that you spend a leisurely time feeling the breeze, and in the winter, we recommend that you lie back and listen to the sound of the boiling water in the hot water heater while facing the firewood stove. Please feel free to look into the vinyl greenhouse or go out to the hot springs.

About the Omagari Fireworks Festival (Daisen City) on August 31st Traffic is very crowded and there will be a lot of traffic on the day. The time indicated by Google map can not come from the fireworks display venue to our inn in 1 hour and 14 minutes.It takes 3-5 hours on that day.The fireworks display will probably end or arrive at Katasumi as early as 1 o'clock at night and around 2 o'clock.If you're making a reservation for that date, please understand this before booking.Please note that it is not possible to pick up and drop off by car.

It is about an hour to the main tourist spots in the prefecture, such as the Oga Peninsula and Lake Tazawa, making it an ideal base for sightseeing in Akita. If you come by public transportation, we can also provide free transportation to Akita Station, etc., so please consult in advance. A 180-year-old merchant house "Old Shiba Yoya" was renovated and built.Two "built-in" buildings in Akita Prefecture, one of Japan's leading heavy snow zones and Akita Prefecture, which connects the main house with a large roof so that it can come and go even during the winter snowfall. This is a box-type dormitory room inspired by the trademark "Oi" of the wandering painter "Minomushasanjin" who once stayed in the villa of Shibayo. There is a shared bathroom on the first floor, and the bedroom on the second floor is compact but comfortable, making it a private space that is recommended for business use as well as for single travelers and groups.(4 beds)
