Kirkjuland is a small farm just 10km north of Reykjavik, on Kjalarnes. Located under the beautiful mountain Esja. Peaceful and cozy.. We can host 2 persons at our facility. Fantastic view over the Reykjavik area. We are close to many beautiful places you would want to visit; like Thingvellir national park, Glymur the highest waterfall in Iceland, Húsafell , Krauma, Giljaböð natural bath places, etc. All photos of the northern lights taken in our garden! Studio appartment 15 km from center of Reykjavík

Cosy appartment in a quiet neighborhood in Mosfellsbær. Many great walking trail and hike. Short from great nature and green area. Lágafellslaug is very popular swimmingpool its so nice to relax in a hot tip. Short from golfcourse by the sea side. Grocery store 900 meters away. One the best bakery in Iceland is also 900 meters away. Center of Reykjavík is 11 km away, you can take bus to Reykjavík no 15, it stops 2 min walk from us. Thingvellir National Park is ca. 30 min drive from Mosfellsbær.

Cosy cottage 2 close to Reykjavík - hot tub

The cottage is cosy and it has everything you need to make a perfect meal in the kitchen or you can use the gas grill outside the cottage. It´s close to the sea and you can see the seals play along the shore. The cottage although small is ideal for 2-4 person. There is a free WIFI and on the veranda is a private hot tub where you can soak while enjoying the view. There is no light pollution here like in Reykjavik or in towns and therefore ideal location for watching the Northern Lights.

Hvalfjarðarsveit Cottage with Mountain view

It's located in West Iceland with a view over Lake Eiðisvatn, the Hvalfjörður and the spectacular mountains around the fjord. Behind the small village of Melahverfi, which is signposted on the ringroad. Akranes is around 15 minutes away. In autumn and winter, this is also a good place to watch the Northern Lights. Although the view is wonderful, you can't help but see an aluminium plant a few kilometres away.
