I recently stayed at this beautiful villa near Durres and had an amazing experience. The location is perfect: quiet, yet close to the sea and the city center.

Wow, what can I say, with accommodation to such a standard I would usually be speechless, but alas, let me think and divulge. Let’s start with the hosts. Always went the extra mile, very hands on sharing local spots, brimming full of advice. Local butchers, with meat from the village. Delicious, finely charred on the BBQ provided in the residence. A plethora of entertainment. Backgammon boards, darts and a fridge full of beers. A wonderful space, perfect for a big group. Have stayed in many an Airbnb, but this by far was one that ticked all the boxes. But most importantly, the host was exceptional, fantastic and tremendous. Thank you so much, you may forget us staying but we’ll never forget you.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful villa in Vala Mar. The location is perfect – peaceful, secure, and just a short walk from the beach.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Gastgeber war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und stets gut erreichbar. Der Kontakt verlief reibungslos und schnell – auch bei kleinen Reklamationen wurde prompt reagiert. Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung und die Bilder spiegeln die Realität gut wider. Es liegt jedoch recht abgelegen, sodass die Anreise ohne Auto nahezu unmöglich ist. Wer sich für diese Unterkunft entscheidet, sollte auf jeden Fall ein Auto mieten. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Die Toilettenschüsseln im Haus waren leider nicht befestigt, was wir dem Gastgeber gemeldet haben. Wir hoffen, dass dies bald behoben wird. Insgesamt aber eine schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Gastgeber – wir können den Aufenthalt weiterempfehlen, wenn man mobil ist.

Excellent host, very responsive. Allowed us to use the facilities eg well stocked kitchen with sharp knives and lots of utensils and well stocking washing machine. Beautiful setting with lots of room. Danae also picked us lemons, mint and cucumbers and tomatoes from the vegetable garden. Very happy with our stay!

We had a great time and are definitively giving a deserved 5-star rating - but please be aware of a few things before you book: - there are only 4 double bed + 1 matress + 1 small folding bed - even though there is some equipment, the kitchen is not fully equipped for 10 guests and a few extras are missing like doormats - a few things are not well thought out (some windows cannot be opened completely and the whirlpool function in the pool does not work) - we had as much mosquito bites as never before in our lives, so better come prepared :) Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our stay, as the pool and the living room were perfect as well as having such a close distance to the beach. We got also offered to check-out later, so thank you very much!

Die Unterkunft bei Prel ist einzigartig. Wir sind mit unseren 3 Reiseenduros, die knapp 4 km selbst hochgefahren. Prel hätte uns aber auch abgeholt. Die 3 Tage auf dem abgelegenen Hof mit wunderschönem Ausblick bis auf die Drin, war die schwierige Auffahrt wert. Das einfache Landleben dort und die Herzlichkeit der Familie hat uns tief beeindruckt. Wlan war vorhanden. Zimmer voll in Ordnung. Wer Luxus sucht, sollte woanders buchen. Das Frühstück und Abendessen, war günstig und komplett aus Eigenbau. Stefan, Andreas und Jürgen

Maison fidèle aux photos, de nombreuses chambres indépendantes les unes des autres avec leur propre salle de bain. Il y a de nombreuses places de parking pour se garer. La villa est à 5 minutes à pied du centre de ksamil avec accès aux différents restaurants, supermarchés, pharmacies etc

The villa was lovely - the 3 bedrooms we used were particularly good because they had shutters which meant a lovely lie in! We loved the peaceful agricultural surroundings, we're completely at home and enjoy the rather meditative sound of chickens, cows and the gentle rumbling of little tractor engines. An absolute escape from the rat race of life in the UK. Franko's pool is awesome, and pool table was lots of fun. When we arrived Franko's parents gave us a lovely welcome - and we managed to communicate using our very poor understanding of Italian, their little bitnof English and plenty of sign language! Franko was super helpful everything we needed anything. The bathrobes were an absolute winner given you have to ho outside to get to the bathrooms - great idea! If you stay at Franko's - just be sure to use lots of insect repellent, there are lots of mosquitos. Air conditioning in the bedrooms really helps though. If you stay.....the frog chorus around the nearby lagoon is fabulous!

A great location within walking distance of the beach and a big supermarket. The beds were very comfortable and it was peaceful. This apartment had everything we could want and more!

The apartment is so spacious and pleasant. It is in the lively Don Bosco district but in a very quiet street. It's fully equipped, so you really don't lack anything! Violeta is very responsive and kind, it was a pleasure to stay here!

Notre séjour était malheureusement court dans la superbe Villa d'Eugen. Nous l'avons tellement aimé que nous avons envisagé de prolonger notre séjour pour en profiter. Je recommande absolument.

The villa is absolutely gorgeous and as described/viewed. It has everything you need and the host makes sure that you have everything that you need for a great holiday. Very helpful and responsive host. Thankyou again!

A well-maintained villa with ample space for families to share (we were 4 adults and 4 children) and yet still didn’t use the fourth bedroom. The outside seating is lovely but beware the local cats as do they appear frequently albeit can be ushered away. A couple of minor issues were dealt with within a couple of hours of reporting which was great and made our stay very comfortable. Access for cars is on an unpaved slope so just take it easy getting in and out. This also makes it tricky for buggies (we had 4 children under 4). Overall a good base for our exploring to begin each morning with shops and beaches around 1km away from the villa. Thank you for your fabulous hospitality.

Fantastic Airbnb, great social spaces with a beautiful pool looking over the hills. Really decent value and only a 15 minute taxi to the city. Amel went above and beyond in terms of communication, to ensure we had a great stay. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful new villa in the north of Albania. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly hosts, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. Communication via Airbnb was very good. The villa is perfect for a large group or multiple families and offers a great view of Lake Skoder. There is a lakeside beach within walking distance, as well as cozy restaurants and cafes nearby. For groceries, you need to travel a bit further, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Montenegro is within driving distance and definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a clean and relaxing vacation!

Unser Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft in Albanien war einfach fantastisch. Schon bei der Ankunft am Flughafen wurden wir herzlich vom Vermieter empfangen. Dieser persönliche Abholservice war nicht nur unglaublich praktisch, sondern auch ein erster Vorgeschmack auf die außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft, die uns während des gesamten Aufenthalts begleitet hat. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und proaktiv. Er brachte uns frisches Brot und eine Flasche lokalen eigenen Wein vorbei, eine wunderbare Geste, die unseren ersten Abend besonders gemacht hat. Die Unterkunft selbst war wunderschön gelegen mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick, den wir jeden Morgen und Abend aufs Neue genossen haben. Ob beim Frühstück oder beim Entspannen am Abend, der Blick war einfach spektakulär und hat unseren Aufenthalt jeden Tag aufs Neue bereichert. Zum Abschluss unseres Urlaubs hat uns der Vermieter sogar wieder zum Flughafen gebracht. Dieser zusätzliche Service war für uns sehr wertvoll und zeigt

A really good place to go ! The only trouble is the water pressure that deserves to be upgraded if it's possible. The villa is confortable, perfect for big group ! Take some rental cars to enjoy the country. Special mention for Leonora, she's kind and very helpful. She finds us driver and make some groceries for us before our arrival.
