Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Albury–Wodonga

Four of us had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage. It’s an older style home but refurbished and nicely decorated, has everything you need in the kitchen to eat ‘in’, comfortable beds, good heating and good hot water/shower. Nice to have sourdough bread, ground coffee & bottle of wine provided. It’s on the edge of town (but Rutherglen isn’t very big) so an easy walk to the main part of town or a local brewery, & very close to a winery / cellar door. Good communication & information provided by Alexandra & in an info pack at the cottage.

A very nice place that was clean and well appointed. The outdoor fire and couch area is fantastic but for the price would have been nice if there was a bag of firewood ($20 at servo) and we couldn’t find fire utensils. Also missing ice trays. Would definitely stay there again.

What a beautiful place to relax and explore the area. Every window in the house had a serene outlook - looking over the dam, out to the highland cows, over to the sheep and lambs; with so many places to sit a relax - by the fire pit at the edge of the running creek, comfortable chairs in a number of nooks inside and out. We really felt at home. Thank you.

Felt very relaxed. Wonderful, fresh mountain air if only we could bottle it ☺️ Enjoyed the nature and peaceful surroundings. Not far to the Punka pub and Bright. Definitely come again.

Our third trip to Mutts on the Murray and we love it. Perfect place for us to unwind with birdwatching, nature sketching, walking and plenty of day trip destinations. We feel right at home walking into the house and relished the truly dog friendly space. Thanks Gary and Dot.

An absolute gem of a space, right close to the city centre. Had everything that you need to make your stay pleasant if travelling with kids and pets. You can walk to Coles, Mcdonalds, Hungry Jack’s, Kmart and local pubs and restaurants. The house has 3 beautifully positioned bedrooms and couple of toilets to make things easy. The modern kitchen has enough space and plenty of utensils and cutlery for us all. The yard was very secure for our 2 big dogs to be left alone for a little while, without any stress. Marcia and Troy are very responsive if you need anything sorted before and while you’re staying. Clear instructions while checking in and checking out were very helpful, and we were also granted an hour’s extension upon asking which was very kind of them. We really had a very pleasant stay in Wangaratta and would recommend this place to anyone, anyday! Thank you again☺️

We were traveling as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and had a lovely stay at Sue's house in Rutherglen. It's only a street away from all of the shops, restaurants and cafe's and lots of beautiful rides/walks along the old rail line. Wineries are all close by also. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home, very comfortable with great amenities. Large outdoor decked area for relaxing and well-kept lawn for dogs. Short walk to town centre for cafes and shops. Aldi supermarket a couple of doors away. No need to drive unless going to wineries close by. Charmaine was extremely helpful and a great communicator.

We had a wonderful long weekend at the bungalow. Andrew and Christine were warm and welcoming. They did everything to accommodate our needs and were so kind to let us bring our dog to stay. We look forward to staying again ! Thank you

Jenni is lovely and friendly. We loved the personalised welcome note on our arrival, the cosy and lovely decorated place, So clean and comfy. I loved the outdoor aear too. Perfect location, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and 5 minutes drive to Bright's town centre. We will definitely be back again soon.

Loved this place, stayed multiple times and it works perfectly for our family. Very quiet and close to everything we needed.

Wonderful winter stay at Upper Lurg. 3 couples could not have loved the house more on a cold weekend. Facilities and space were amazing with everything you could need. The pool looked a bit cool at 7 degrees but we could see outdoor summer entertaining being amazing, the spaces, the outdoor cooking area all looked amazing, was ready to crank up the pizza oven. If only the chickens were laying eggs. The location was amazing for the King Valley Wineries. Easy drive to all the Valley. Will plan another visit.

Well located house with a lot of charm and many great spaces to enjoy your stay in. It was a very pleasant place for our family to stay.

Great peaceful place in the forest, the ride to the place was bumpy but other than that everything was fine

Karen's place is truly amazing. The apartment is modern , comfortable, clean and very private. It was kept warm inside day and night (ceiling duct heating) in entire apartment. That was fantastic considering winter temperatures. We found everything what we needed during our stay. The fire pit outside gave us a special atmosphere at night , and the open view up to horizon night allowed us to admire sunrise and sunset. It was amazing.we also loved company of 2 golden retrievers and calfs behind the fence. All of these made our stay very relaxing and special. Please accept our big thank you, Karen.

Jennifer has done an amazing job with this unit! So bright and clean. We had a lovely stay with our little dog, and check in/communication was super easy. Perfect for a night away, and in a court so it was super quiet. We all slept well! One thing to note which didn’t bother us, but others may like to know is it is a bit out of the city centre. However the neighbours in the other units were quiet and polite, and if you have a car it is a great stop over point. Thanks Jennifer 👏🏻

Really lovely home, nice and cosy. Terri even put the heating on for us before we arrived. Lovely special touches like milk, tim tams and a pod coffee machine. Our dogs loved the backyard, everything was very secure and clean. Thanks

Perfect escape, peaceful with ever changing beautiful view. Great for bird spotting and watching the cheerful/playful sheep. Comfy bed and plenty of hot water!

Cosy cottage. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and linen. Great heating in cold weather and what looked like great outside areas if weather was warm. Well secured for your fur babies to enjoy.

This has to be one of the nicest places we have stayed in. Place was absolutely beautiful, plenty of bedding, and super comfortable beds, there were even toys for the kids which was a bonus. House was very well presented. Would definitely recommend.

We had the best stay at The Kingsley! Our family of 7 adults stayed to celebrate my Mum’s 60th Birthday. The house was very comfortable, warm & beautifully furnished. The layout was spacious & perfect for our family. We were spoilt with the underfloor heating in the bathrooms! On arrival we were treated with some breakfast goods & a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge, thoroughly enjoyed! The kitchen was very well equipped, including spices & cookbooks. The beds were comfortable & cosy. Outside, the grounds were very well kept, including a fire pit. Both the wood fire inside & the fire pit had everything needed to get them started. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful tiny house on the farm, surrounded by cows, kangaroos and even a wombat! Host made us feel so welcome and the place was spotless. Our pup loved exploring along the creek and playing with the neighbour’s dog too!
