Casas da Horta - Casa das Alcachofras

Casas da Horta is located on a 150-hectare private rural estate. The two houses can be rented separately or together. This unique property is perfect for a family vacation or vacation with friends, offering privacy and plenty of room for a relaxing day in full nature. Just 8 km away is Alcácer do Sal, and 23 km to Comporta. Each house consists of 2 suites, 1 social bathroom, a spacious living room with kitchen and dining room (with sofa bed), fireplace, swimming pool and a shed. In the lake (unguarded) it is possible to take dives or walk on a seagull with a slide. We also have bicycles available to our guests. The property has horses and a donkey (wild but surrounded) who love to host parties and carrots! Pets are allowed (upon extra deposit). We have 2 medium-sized dogs, very friendly. The owners live on the estate and are always available for any need. With a degree in hospitality, a professional career in the area and a huge taste in welcoming, it will be my priority to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Since we live on the property you can always count on our availability. We are always available to give suggestions of activities in the area and we know well the gastronomic secrets around us, which we will be happy to share! If you are a nature lover don't forget to explore our property! Visit the horses and donkey, who love parties and carrots, walk with our (very friendly) dogs, take risks on crops from our vegetable garden to give more flavor to your cooking. If you are more adventurous, be sure to dive into our lake that, with the seagull slide, makes the delights of the youngest. Alcácer do Sal (8km) is worth a visit and the Comporta area (25km) and its beaches are a must-see! Lisbon Airport is 99kms away, so it is about an hour from Casas da Horta. The nearest railway station is Grândola (12 km from the houses of Horta).

The apartment was renovated in 2019 and its located in the Historical District of Alcácer do Sal, close to the river the main cafes, restaurants, shops and pharmacies. 45 minutes away from Lisbon and 20 minutes away from the best beaches in the region (Comporta, Carvalhal, Pego, etc) there are several places of interest in the region such as the Natural Reserve of the Sado Estuary, Cais Palafítico de Carrasqueira or the Roman Villa of Santa Catarina de Sitimos.
