Cottage holiday rentals in Alcolea del Río

Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

Fuimos a la casa rural con amigos y no pudimos haber elegido un alojamiento mejor. La idea de que las habitaciones estén abajo y el resto de estancias de la casa en la parte de arriba nos pareció muy buena para quien quería descansar. Todo estaba muy limpio y la casa es tal y como se muestra en el anuncio. Alejandro es muy amable y nos indicó perfectamente tanto como llegar como la zona de aparcamiento ya que al ser un pueblo pequeño no todas las calles están habilitadas para ello. Además, el pueblo es precioso. Volveremos a repetir sin ninguna duda !!!

We had a great stay at this villa. The villa was clean, the beds were comfy, the pool was great and the views were stunning! it was approximately 20 mins walk to La Joya and 35 mins to Hotel Fuente del Sol, so was easy to get around as well.

Excelente estancia, de verdad que pasamos unos días en familia maravillosos, tanto la casa como la zona eran muy lindos. La atención fue de lujo, más todas las actividades que se podían realizar en casa. El trato con Cristina fue un 10, muy amable, atenta a los detalles y a que pases una estadía estupenda.

Amazing house located in the peaceful place with stunning views (especially when it is spring and the grass is still green). Swimming pool is well maintained and the house itself is very clean and comfortable. Maria responds quickly and is flexible in check-in/check-out processes. Thank you!

Superbe petite maison non loin d'Antequera. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les équipements, la décoration et les petites attentions de l'hôte à notre arrivée. Très léger bémol : les chiens dans le voisinage parfois un peu bruyant, mais nous avons quand même pu nous détendre dans le superbe jacuzzi

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub in einem fantastischen Casa Rural, der für uns unvergesslich bleiben wird. Mit dem warmherzigen Empfang von Reyes und Luis (die jederzeit für uns da waren) fühlten wir uns sofort wie zuhause. Im Haus mit dem hübschen Patio, den schön gekachelten Bädern usw. auch wirklich wie in Andalusien. Die beiden Jacuzzis sind dann noch die absolute Kirsche auf der Torte. Wir haben vom 3 Minuten Fußweg entfernten Bahnhof mit dem Zug Cordoba und Sevilla besucht sowie per Auto die Nahe Umgebung (Carmona!) erkundet. Nachmittags haben wir uns dann auf die Rückkehr in unsere Entspannungsoase gefreut. Restaurants im Ort selbst schwierig, Supermärkte aber in 2 Minuten Entfernung fußläufig und Metzgerei nebenan. Es war grandios und wir kommen gerne wieder...nur länger!

Hemos pasado el fin de semana y el alojamiento es precioso, super bien equipado. Ana ha estado pendiente desde el minuto uno y respondía rápidamente a todo lo que le preguntaba. Sin duda repetiría nuevamente, hemos estado super cómodos.

Carmen's home was an amazing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The grounds were beautiful, peaceful and private. My four kids had lots of fun exploring the yard around the house and my husband and I loved soaking up the sun and the surrounding nature. We also enjoyed walking along the local lanes and seeing all the area had to offer. The interior of the house was cozy and we greatly enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evening and the beds and linens were very comfortable. We had such a lovely time and definitely want to repeat our visit in the future. Carmen was a lovely and attentive host.

La estancia ha sido espectacular sobre todo en algo que , después de haber ido a muchas casas rurales , normalmente es muy malo en todos lados , las camas han sido tremendamente cómodas para después de pasar el día intensamente poder descansar para recargar energías! Muchas gracias.

Excelente finca para familia con hijos. Estuvimos genial en alojamiento. El entorno es maravilloso, muy tranquilo y bonito.

O caminho para chegar à casa tem ruas muito estreitas, mas vale a pena ir até à casa. A casa está praticamente no centro da vila, com acessos pedonais curtos para as zonas mais famosas da vila. A casa em si estava limpa, apesar de alguma loiça estar com pó (é normal). Também estava bem equipada e o quarto é simplesmente maravilhoso, com parte da falésia a fazer de parede e com vista para o ribeiro que atravessa a vila. Recomendo vivamente.

The view from this house is even more beautiful than the pictures show in the listing. It is very peaceful there and we loved sitting out on the terrace, just taking in the view. We enjoyed the Caminito del Rey hike, which was only a short drive away. The house itself had plenty of room for our family of 5 and was very clean. We liked the BBQ setup by the pool too:)

La finca El Cañuelo es un sitio genial donde pasar un fin de semana con amigos. Es un lugar cómodo y con encanto, te hace sentir como si estuvieras en casa por sus estancias acogedoras y como Marta te da libertad para hacer tuyo el espacio. La llegada fue fácil y el alojamiento está muy accesible desde la carretera. Los exteriores son geniales. ¡Para repetir!

La casa es estupenda, tiene de todo lo que puedas necesitar para ir un grupo grande tipo barbacoa, horno, varias neveras. Estaba todo muy limpio y bonito, y la zona de la piscina es espectacular. Fuimos un fin de semana un grupo de amigos con niños y lo pasamos muy bien. Jose Luis muy amable, contestó a todas nuestras dudas rápidamente. Sin duda volveríamos a repetir.

Fuimos a pasar un fin de semana entre amigos y lo pasamos increíble! Tiene todas las comodidades que necesitas para pasar unos días y mucho entretenimiento. Volvería a reservar para próximos eventos.

La maison est conforme au descriptif. Elle est dans un quartier calme. La proximité de Séville permet de découvrir cette très jolie ville . Le jardin est très agréable avec la piscine . Et quel plaisir d’avoir au petit déjeuner un jus d’orange frais . La communication est fluide avec Victoria . Je recommande cette location .

What a great find! We had a brilliant stay - the pool terrace and location are the stand out, what a view! María was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the house was very comfortable. We are already planning our return!

Beautiful views!!! This house was amazing. It had everything you could need and more. The host Raquel was great, she sent over recommendations and directions for everything. Would recommend as a peaceful getaway to the mountains.

A perfect setting for a relaxing getaway! Had everything we needed, super clean and only a 2 min drive to El Gastor village and 30 min drive to Ronda. Juan was a great host and answered any questions we had. We would 100% come back! Thank you!
