Holiday rentals with lake access in Alcona County

This was a cute little get away for our family. The pictures were accurate and they have pretty much everything you would need. Although it was a bit colder than expected I would still stay here again.

Super comfortable, great location on the lake, well stocked. Tracey was great to communicate with.

My wife and I came here for a relaxing baby moon and it was perfect! Teri was always quick to respond and the check-in a breeze. Beds were comfy and the kitchen actually had everything you needed! Coffees in the morning over looking the water and walking distance to town was a treat. . . Highly recommend Harbortown Pizza for takeout and getting their Buffalo Chicken pizza!

We loved our stay at Esther’s place. We felt right at home in this completely remodeled, beautiful lake house. The bed and furniture were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with about anything you would want to be able to cook a meal. Friendly neighbors and great food at the Wagon Wheel. The lake is crystal clear and peaceful. I highly recommend staying here!

Immaculate,well decorated,well maintained.All the immenities were convenient.Quiet ,peaceful yet close to accessible to Walmart nd restaurants.Ann is Just simply Amazing.The love nd Humanity just pours out of her.very honest.

The stay at Kenneth's place was everything I was looking forward to. Beautiful setting, spacious and very accommodating for a cousins reunion. All of us loved it and looking forward to our stay next year. Thank you so much Ken!

great house in a quiet picturesque place, very clean and cozy

Arrived a bit before check in. Cleaning lady was still there, but let us know when she was finished. The house was as expected with a beautiful view of the lake, lots of water floats to use on the water, surrounding area was very peaceful. Only issue was the steps and handrail on the waterfront porch was in need of repair. Had a fantastic time, and would definitely stay there again. Owner was very responsive throughout the whole process.

My husband and I went there for our first wedding anniversary this past weekend and it was amazing! Everything was so clean and the view was beautiful 🥰

The proximity to the beach, fire pit and Lake Huron are what makes this cottage special. We took our young daughter and it made it so much less stressful to be close to food, bathroom and our clothes just steps from the beach. We had all we needed. Even when we had neighbors at the houses near us they were kind and respectful. The one important thing for those visiting to know is that the ceilings of the bedrooms are open to the rest of the cabin. This was not shown in the pictures or mentioned in the description. It made things more difficult when putting kids to bed and trying to stay up after their bedtime. Noise and light traveled easily from room to room. Overall, a very nice stay and we would return!

Wonderful place to stay for beach fans!

This a beautiful home right on Lake Huron. Easy access to the beach. Enough room for us all to stretch out and have a visit. Angela was very responsive to my inquiries, and any issue, and was only one, was immediately addressed. I would recommend this house to anyone. Its just a very lovely home.

What a lovely spot! The beach is so sandy and the trees on each side give you a sense of privacy. My kids loved swimming in the water and having your first morning cup of coffee overlooking is lake is divine.

This was our second time staying at Blue Haven and many improvements have been made in that time. We had an issue with heat, however that was due to DTE servicing and upgrading gas lines and equipment and not at all the owners fault. Owners were extremely responsive in their follow up calls and texts with us and had a staff member out to the cottage first thing in the am to address the issue! Everything that was in the control of the owners was great! And the things that happen outside of that make for an adventure! Yes, we will stay there again when we're in the area and recommend it. The beach is lovely, and very peaceful in October!

We wanted to find a place that could host our family that had a great view and was also private. The house is amazing and the descriptions are accurate. Scott, our main contact, was always very responsive. We felt welcome the minute we walked in. We highly recommend this place!

We had a great stay at this property. The house has been completely updated inside and out so everything is new and very clean. Nice sandy beach and this section of the lake is also all sand with shallow entry which is great for swimming with kids. You can walk for miles on the sandy beach if you wanted. We rented a slip at the Harrisville Marina for our boat and would anchor in front of the house during the day and do side trips like tubing or swimming over the sunken ships. About a 6 min boat ride to the house and less than 10 min by car which was great. Light house is a short walk away and good place to look for Petoskey stones. Host was very friendly and accommodating. She left a gift basket with treats for the kids and adults as well as some fresh veggies from her garden. Neighbors were also friendly that we met and it's a nice quiet street.

Cozy place on the lake. Beautiful sunsets even in the winter. Loved the fireplace, kept it nice and toasty on cold days. Kitchen very well stocked with supplies. Loved working on one of the puzzles, on a cold Saturday afternoon. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Nice and relaxing!! Sarah was very good at communicating any specifics with us. Would definitely come back, I bet summer would be fantastic!
