Fomos muito bem recebidos pela Dona Teresa que já tinha tudo preparado para a nossa chegada. A casa está situada numa zona com uma área envolvente verdejante muito bonita, com um ribeiro de água cristalina, uma pequena ponte e um antigo lagar, que a Dona Teresa teve muito gosto em nos mostrar. A casa é exatamente como anunciado, está num sítio muito tranquilo e é muito acolhedora. Passámos uns dias muito bons! Uma experiência para repetir.

Alles war perfekt! Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Sie war unglaublich lieb und die Kommunikation verlief absolut reibungslos. Das Airbnb war dank des atemberaubenden Ausblicks eines der schönsten, in dem wir je übernachtet haben. Zur Begrüßung wurden wir mit Marmelade, frischem Brot und Käse überrascht – eine wirklich leckere und liebevolle Geste. Wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen und haben uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt. Vielen herzlichen Dank!

Peace, stars, mountains, lge bed (I'm 6'4"), bath+shower & friendly cats. It had it all,apart from cats, but no bad thing with a wren nesting near. Bed&pillows v comfy; view breathtaking. Walking the drive at dusk,enjoyed swooping bats & glow worm. Snippets of other reviews came to mind: 'you need to be a confident driver to handle track to Quinta' (true but we’re used to bumpy tracks with grass up centre. Tip: deactivate proximity sensors or you'll have 6 mins of beeping); 'kitchen isn't a cook's kitchen' (true, it was surprisingly basic, missing a tray, colander & jug for inst. Sure co-host would drive over had we asked as he did with hairdryer; on which note, a mirror by plug upstairs would be welcome).Highlights = Coimbra, &Torre (Portugal's peak) both an hour's drive; sunrise after dawn chorus; cooling in pool surrounded by lavender, citrus &olive trees; wood-floored lookout next to bedroom(tho a tad hot) & cooler sitting room with stone fireplace below. 6night stay almost perfect

A receção não poderia ter sido mais calorosa: a Limor é a anfitriã que todos sonhariam encontrar — cuidadora, atenta e genuinamente dedicada a cada detalhe. O apartamento, acolhedor e familiar, exala charme e encanto em cada recanto. A decoração, de um requinte subtil e de extremo bom gosto, transporta-nos de imediato para um ambiente sereno e inspirador. A energia pacífica e relaxante do quarto convida-nos a viajar mentalmente para destinos exóticos, onde o som do silêncio embala a alma — e onde chamar "paraíso" parece até insuficiente. We had a lovely stay, super hosts and very peaceful area. We loved the saltwater pool and although we were a little worried about sharing with neighbours, it was all fine! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

My husband and I needed a break in the country side and James place was perfect. James gave us some great tips for the area.His house and farm are very big and beautiful and we had a very relaxing few days. The little town of villa de rei is only 10 min away. Great bush-walks with lovely cool waterfalls and places to swim are near by.Definitely can recommend James place to anyone.We hope to come back one day.

apartment was beautifully furnished and with all facilities. Located in the old Town so very walkable. Host was incredibly helpful

Such a beautiful little house. The setting is paradise. View out the front window is spectacular. The town is peaceful and the neighbours are very friendly. The house had everything we needed for a couple with a small dog. The owner left milk, delicious bread, butter and condiments as well as local jam and honey. The bed was large, lots of English TV stations if you like that, internet was fast. The highway to get there is a series of million dollar views. 3 minute drive from a small beach with a crystal clear stream to swim in that we had all to ourselves all week. Sitting out front drinking coffee is an orchestra of birds singing. Nights are silent, we slept like babies. The owner let us check in early and the manager was there to meet us and show us how everything worked. After that, total privacy. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was top quality and modern. We will definitely be back.
