Cottage holiday rentals in Alderton

Riverside Cottage was perfect for a restful week away before my operation. The scenery was stunning and the location so peaceful. The dogs were happy as they could could come and go as they pleased as the garden was so secure. Everything you need for a break away was supplied and the host was a message away if you had any queries. The hottub was an added bonus and was made the most of throughout the week!! A most enjoyable break, we will definitely be back

A fantastic place to stay. There was absolutely everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfy and the showers excellent. Simon was a great host - very helpful. The Hub next door was very handy - we enjoyed a cold pint once we’d arrived and even took home a cheesecake for later. The hot-tub was also a nice thing to have and was very private. I definitely recommend Simon’s place and would come here again.

Had an amazing valentines stay here with my partner. Clare was the perfect host and the barn was the perfect property for our stay. Very quaint, peaceful and secluded. With lovely views over the farmland and a short drive from some beautiful towns

Jamie & Dan are very fortunate to have this beautiful property. It is the ideal country location for escaping away and distancing yourself from our increasingly busy lives. The gardens around the property are stunning, the views are incredible and the local area is amazing to explore on foot, bike or by car. We had an amazing stay and would happily return, and have already started to recommend to friends & family

This place is so lovely! Host Meng was so kind, even putting some beautiful flowers in the cottage for my birthday ❤️ the view is spectacular, it's one of the most peaceful places I've been. Hot tub is great fun, the kitchen has got everything you need including washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The bed was comfy, plug sockets everywhere you'd want them and usb sockets. It was great to see how dog friendly the place is with throws for the couch, fenced garden and fixed stairs gates. I highly advise popping into Jolter Press Cider bar/shop and getting some food from the local Chinese takeaway. Also a walk to St Anthony's Well, there's some step incline/declines on the walk there but it's beautiful and you have to take a dip! We also went to the Three Choirs Vineyard that was beautiful and good fun too. I would definitely come back and I think it would be equally beautiful in any season, our summer trip was fantastic but I'd love to see it in autumn or winter too.

Had a lovely couple of days at Hlolly Barn. It’s a beautiful property in a gorgeous spot. The weather was fantastic which made everything even better. It’s really very easy to explore some superb walks and trails across the common and downs. Brockhampton Estate is well worth a visit too. Sarah is very friendly and it’s great to know she is next door without being intrusive. Loved it!

Absolute gem of a place in the Cotswolds. Stunning cottage and beautifully maintained which was perfect for our family of five. Victoria was amazing throughout the process and made several extra touches to toast a birthday occasion perfectly. We will 100% be back

We have stayed here before and were not disappointed. The property is always immaculate, attention to detail is superb. We really appreciate the fridge items and fizz, such a lovely homely touch. Cute, cosy little cottage in the middle of Winchcombe. Walkable distance to shops, bars and restaurants. The little garden was great for the dogs and it has access to the carpark behind, which we found very convenient. Lyndsey was a great host and very responsive to any questions we had. Unbeatable location in beautiful Chipping Campden with easily accessed on-site parking space. Well equipped kitchen, washing machine, fridge/freezer etc. plus great bathrooms with good shower pressure. Plentiful basic supplies as well! Super hot when we stayed so lovely to be able to have the French doors to the pretty courtyard open. Quiet for a high street location and very secure. We have stayed at Chipping Campden previously and it’s a fab location for touring the area.

A beautiful hidden gem in the Cotswolds countryside! You can get more peaceful and relaxing than this! A lovely cake on arrival, clean fresh bedding and towels. Everything you need in the kitchen. A lovely little courtyard and dog friendly. We had an amazing 2 night stay for my birthday. Finding the games, Scrabble and connect four gave us a few giggles. Lovely walks around the area... I highly recommend this beautiful converted barn / mill house. It has everything you need from toiletries to blankets and fans if it's hot to logs if it's cold. We would be back in a heartbeat 💓 thank you Valerie & Marcus!

Kevin was a terrific host. The gardens of the house were excellent and made for a relaxing stay. The house was very charming and we enjoyed cooking for each other and playing games.

The 1 bedroom apartment is attached to Painswick House and gardens. A gorgeous peaceful setting. Spotlessly clean and very appreciated welcome supplies including milk and homemade biscuits and marmalade. Very comfortable bed and bathroom. Loved staying here and would recommend to others looking in this area of the Cotswolds. Gloucester cathedral is magnificent.

Our stay at Victoria’s cottage was one that we will reminisce about for a long time - hopefully we will be back soon and will stay much longer! We were so comfortable and felt very much at home, with a dream king bed and beautiful art and textiles decorating the home. Wotton-Under-Edge is a scenic 20-minute walk away for all amenities. Truly a restful Cotswolds experience surrounded by farms and nature.

My mother and I were visiting to celebrate her retirement and were so happy we stayed at Rose End Cottage! The space was super clean and adorable completed with the sweet smelling roses climbing up the front wall! I appreciated all of the clear instructions and the helpful materials in the cottage (eg local recommendations). We had a wonderful visit!

We absolutely loved our stay in the cottage! It was very central to many towns throughout the Cotswolds that we enjoyed visiting. We frequently took long walks and runs on nearby footpaths. Nigel was proactive and provided many local recommendations for activities that would be enjoyable for both us and our son! We had such a lovely stay and the cottage was the exact vibe of what we were looking for!

Bucket list location, the Cotswolds was a dream to visit. Jill’s cottage made the stay even more special. We had plenty of room for 3 adults with a fully stocked kitchen and very comfortable surroundings. Especially nice was the washer and dryer after traveling for so many days. Parking was available and getting around the towns was easy with Jill’s many suggestions. Highly recommend Old Butchers restaurant! (Reservations required). I would highly recommend Jill’s cottage anytime. Special thanks again to Jill for her warm hospitality.
