Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Alenquer

My friends and I spent wonderful days at the house. Everything was perfect and we have no complaints. The house is huge and clean, equipped to the smallest details, with an impeccable, heated and comfortable garden. Attention, as in the winter the pool is closed. We felt like we were family. The hosts were responsive, friendly, and the check-in and check-out are independent (we just had to follow the instructions). The village is beautiful and quiet, there are wineries everywhere and we even know the Adega of the Ti Nuno family. By car it is possible to take tours to Mafra, through the many cercanic villages and the Montejuno reserve (excellent for trails). We recommend this stay too much! See you soon!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The house was quiet and so cute. The host was amazing. They even brought us fresh bread in the mornings! The location was nice because we wanted to travel to different locations like Nazare, Obidos, Sintra, and Lisbon. The house was centrally located for all of these destinations. The drive back to the house was extremely beautiful and you are able to see so much countryside. They brought us firewood when we needed and we were able to enjoy a lovely fire each morning and evening. The house has been amazing restored and is so nice. They had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends!

Hey, and this Airbnb is shockingly. The coziest place and the most high quality Airbnb I saw so far in portugal. A plenty of card games, every single essential for cooking you ever need to use, plenty of towels, even scissors, checkin is smooth, the host send a whole guide for area for restaurants to visit! The best experience! I extended on as much as I could on the other places this person hosts and if I ever travel to the countries where the host has airbnbs now I’m going to Switzerland feeling excited, wishing she had Airbnb there also

We had a lovely stay and the apartment had everything we needed for a short stay. Easy walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. Would stay again!

The house was very spacious with a large pool. We had a great stay and Miguel was very responsive! I recommend it, we'll be back!

Charming and peaceful.Elio was very friendly and helpful to us and spoke very good English which helped since we do not have much Portuguese. The cottage was lovely and the surrounding countryside stunning. We enjoyed the pool and also the little plunge pool just outside our front door.

Elsa is a wonderful Host, just like her incredible villa. From the reservation, through the arrival to our departure, we were accompanied with kindness and benevolence throughout this experience. The house is ideal for hosting a large family, or groups. We had an extraordinary stay, in complete privacy, in this vast and comfortable place. Jose’s place is a little paradise in Alenquer with such an amazing array of flora and wildlife. The pool is large and well equipped with many sun loungers. A breakfast mostly made from produce grown within the gardens was made on the Sunday morning (the jam, cheesecake and carrot cake were particularly good, best we’ve ever tasted!) which was a very welcome surprise. Paola created some lemonade with Lemons and mint from the gardens and it was simply delicious. Jose even gave us five huge Sicilian Lemons to take with us once we left for home! We were staying for four days as we were over from the UK for a wedding which was hosted only 1km away, but we have to say this place would easily justify a holiday in itself. Everyone couldn’t do enough to help us, given my wife is 30 weeks pregnant and our overall experience of Jose’s place, Alenquer and Portugal was nothing short of beautiful. Thank you Jose and Paola for treating us like a King and Queen during our stay, we will never forget

The first time I saw this house I fell in love soon, besides being spacious, since we were a family of 7, it was very welcoming and loaded with history. We are very comfortable , the place is calm, ideal for resting next to nature. The house is ideal for children , has ping pong table, games and toys. The house is very well equipped and has everything needed for a pleasant stay. Maria was always very attentive and responsive. It was a pleasure to stay in this family house and I hope one day to return.

Wow what a place! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and didn’t want to leave. Francisco was fantastic, checking and making sure all was ok and that we arrived and settled in ok. Lovely to arrive to wine, jam, cookies and cheese along with receipting fresh bread most mornings from the baker. I got some great runs in around the area and felt perfectly safe whilst out on my runs. Thank you Francisco for the perfect holiday.
