Stay in a “barndominium”. The Derecho House is a private living quarter within a shed. Room for trailers and hunter’s welcome. Dogs allowed for extra fee & rules. It was rebuilt after it was completely destroyed by a Derecho in 2022. Enjoy a cozy living area with two tv’s, WiFi and streaming. Full kitchen. Private bedroom with a sliding barn door. Located in a small town. Town has a grocery store, gas station, Bar and Grill , Vet clinic, car repair shop, Chiroprator, and Post Office. The house has two bedrooms and everything is furnished, bedding, towels, all kitchen appliances , dishes and silverware, cleaning supplies, and a washer /dryer. Has 2 TVs - living room/kitchen, both Roku. Hunters are welcome along with their dogs, ( we ask you clean up after them) Anyone with a pet must also include a $25.00 pet fee when they book .

The Corn Palace Cottage - Amazing Location !

Welcome, everyone! Our home, built in 1925, is located in the heart of the historical area of downtown Mitchell. It is situated next to the World’s Only Corn Palace and includes off-street parking for two vehicles. We love attending events at the Corn Palace because we don't have to worry about finding a parking spot; we can simply walk! I have a few short term stays in these townhouse. This give a large group the ability to rent more than one space very close to each other. The living room, dining room and kitchen are all open, which makes for a nice. The open room on the first floor makes for a nice common pace for people to hangout with each other.
