The house is in every way as in the description and photos. The host is very responsive and very kind. I would highly recommend staying at this house

We started our vacation by meeting , Rita, about a mile away from Finca Diez. She was very friendly and charming. We drove our rental and followed Rita in her car. The rocky dirt road was winding and narrow as we went up and up. A little scary at times, but I’m sure younger folks will find it exhilarating. As we continued about 10mph, it was breathtaking to see the beautiful scenery (except for the driver who had to keep her eyes on the road). We passed a couple of other fincas along the way and their dogs greeted us by their closed gates. We finally arrived at the gated entrance of finca Diez ,a beautiful sight. The landscape surrounding the home is well maintained with trees and shrubs and flowers. The home inside is just as gorgeous. The kitchen was small but well equipped with all your needs and we were able to adapt. Nice large dining table and a large living area. Bedrooms were spacious also. Swimming pool was spacious and breathtaking all around. A glorious stay!

Most peaceful and amazing place! Wish we wouldn’t have had to leave! Kila was amazing and super responsive! The house had everything you need!

Aitana was very helpful. She helped us with the booking. I arrived late. She received me with a smile, wine, water, coffee and more. She is young but has compassion of a senior and she gave me a warm welcome. The house has more than I expected. Everything in the house is well thought of. Very tasteful decorated. It feels homey and warm. Nice lighting and furniture. A fireplace. Clean spaces. Soap, shampoo and shower gel. Luxury towels. I enjoy the view from the balcony over the sea. The sunsets are amazing. At night you see a banner of twinkling lights in the distance. The area is quiet. It is in a gated community. We can park the car at street level (upper floor) but we can als park a floor below. Which is unique! Both floors can be run independently from each other. It’s about 10 min by car to the beach. And 5 min buy car to shopping mall. We definitely recommend! Grateful for being here. It’s been a fantastic family vacation, and the place delivered on all that was promised. A wonderfully decorated property, sleek yet stylish with a cozy ambient and enormous feel good factor. The house itself is super chill as Casa Calma should be;)…. the garden and pool are lovely add ons making it a perfect spot for a family get away. Dirk has been very helpful and responsive and his restaurant recommendations are spot on, we have had some amazing diners, from posh beach clubs to a cozy restaurant in the mountains, each place unique and worth a small drive. Overall a very satisfying stay that was enjoyed by the whole family. Till next time ;)

Our family had a very relaxing and peaceful stay and really enjoyed the beautiful house and gardens, all very well maintained and looked after. The short drive to Coin gave access to shopping and authentic Spanish restaurants and shopping.

The stay at Villa Escala was great! Steve and Sue were very accommodating and friendly hosts! Additional beds and chairs were provided especially for Linder. The house has very good facilities and a great open living and dining area. The view of the Costa del Sol is beautiful! The villa is also well suited for children!

We had a great stay. Denis even picked us up at the airport due to national electricity blackout and brought us to the home. He also guided us to the nearest supermarket. The house with the pool, hottub and sauna are great. You’ll have a phantastic view on the surroundings. The house is equipped with everything you need. Since the road to the house is quite steep you’ll better have a good car. Unfortunately we had to return back home early. Hopefully, we can come back!

After arriving in Malaga we found our original villa had been double booked (not a Rem property or via Airbnb) and 10 of us left without anywhere to stay! Got straight on Airbnb and REM’s listing popped up, messaged to ask about availability and someone replied immediately. Within an hour we had booked, been given all the relevant details and booked a taxi to take us to the villa. On arrival we were blown away by the beautiful views and the fantastic villa. We all agreed that actually this villa made our holiday. It’s perfect surroundings meant we spent a little more time at the villa than we’d planned because it was just so beautiful. Thank you REM’s for saving a special birthday and for the constant communication to check everything was ok. I’ve now saved all the details and will definitely be booking again.

This place is a peaceful oasis. A beautiful villa set in lovely gardens and equipped with everything you need for a family holiday. Florence was very responsive and friendly, always there to answer any questions we might have.

This location was beautiful. Estefania was an incredible host. The villa is perfect for a group of six. Estefania had strong recommendations. The pool area is beautiful. The disco bar is cool. The beds were comfortable. Location in Benalmádena is right in the center, easy access to Malaga, Torremolinos, as well as Marbella. Ubers were easy to get to all of our destinations. Estefania was also able to get us an assortment of wines and Spanish tapas upon our request. We had a great experience and can’t wait to go back.

A beautiful villa - perfect for relaxing as a family. Area is quiet, but plenty (restaurant, beach, shops) within easy drive. Fabulous place.

A truly stunning find! George & friend Javier were wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with truly amazing warmth and hospitality. The villa is immaculate and a unique experience. Fitted out with a very high level of modern luxury: salt water pool, outdoor dining, balcony , sunbathing areas, cutting edge kitchen - all tastefully designed & hand-picked furniture creating many wonderful spaces to relax and entertain. We comfortably slept 6 people with room for two more. The location is only a ten minute walk to main Torremolinos which now has many fantastic beaches, restaurants & nightlife to explore. I cannot recommend this property highly enough - our best experience on Airbnb. All the best. Steven & Fiona

Fantastic views! We had a lovely stay to celebrate 70th birthday with the family. Property suited us well, but be aware there are lot of steps and different levels so not ideal for elderly with reduced mobility or for small children. Hire car made it easy to do shopping and explore nearby attractions. I would not hesitate to book Casa Kodak again!

Wonderful in every way. Great patio and outdoor space. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen well-equipped. We made great use of the swimming pool and game room. Excellent customer service from the hosts. Immediate and helpful when there was a minor issue. Overall a great place. Would be happy to stay there again.

Beautiful, spacious, private villa with brilliant outdoor area/pool/BBQ and lots of amenities including lots of international TV channels! Comfortable rooms with good air con. Just come prepared for lots of bugs!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully restored farmhouse. The property perfectly balances old-world charm and modern comforts. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were lovely. We appreciated the request to use natural products, aligning with our lifestyle, and loved the organic orange/fruit grove—especially picking fresh pomelos! The well-stocked kitchen, complete with a juicer, made it easy to enjoy fresh juice every morning. Manuel was incredibly responsive and helpful. Lorena warmly welcomed us, showed us around, and gave great tips on local restaurants and sites. We were impressed by the variety of excellent nearby restaurants—I’m still thinking about some of the dishes! The stunning pool area, with its calm, luxurious vibe, was a highlight. There’s a BBQ, cozy sitting areas, and breathtaking views. We brought our two dogs, who loved playing in the orchard. A few friendly neighborhood dogs visited, and all the dogs got along wonderfully. This place is a gem!

Lovely location, peaceful and private, but with easy access to the local shops, bars and restaurants. It can get a bit windy on the hillside but this also gives some relief from the hot sunshine. Good WiFi and tv channel selection. A great place to chill out and relax.

Beautiful and clean accommodation in a peaceful area with spectacular views. Irene was very helpful and responsive. It’s a very hilly walk into the town (quite steep too), so we chose to drive. However, this would not deter us from staying in this property again! All-in-all excellent!

This place is a true gem. The space was spotless and beautifully designed, and everything about it felt peaceful and luxurious. The pool was a total dream, sparkling clean and perfectly situated to enjoy the stunning scenery. It was incredibly quiet, making it the perfect place to relax, and Isabel was super responsive and helpful throughout my stay. We were even able to check in early. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience — everything was perfect from start to finish, and I would come back in a heartbeat!

Fran is an amazing host, very responsive and helpful. The house was beautiful - home from home. Was described as not suitable for anyone with a disability but just to point out it was located up a very steep hill and to get to the house there are multiple steps ! The house is close to a school so can be a bit noisy during school time when they are playing out and the school bell! Very Spanish area which we loved, Multiple restaurants, a supermarket, great coffee shop/ bakery - if u walk down the mountain to the sea front and turn left you will come across some gorgeous cove type beaches and fabulous restaurants - great seafood places and very reasonable prices. We only discovered this half way through the week and so glad we did ! We went into Malaga centre a few times. Walked it along the coast and got taxi’s for around 8 euros. We were 6 women, clean rooms missing mirrors, comfy beds, lovely pool, ceiling fans - may be hot in summer. We had a great time - will return to the area x

Stunning property which looked just like the photos. Probably the cleanest Airbnb we have stayed in! The location is remote within the mountains, a car would probably be a must if staying here. A lot of mountain/windy roads so keep this in mind. About 35 mins to Malaga and 15 mins to Mijas. The location is as described but something to consider. A huge thanks to the ladies who checked us in and came by every couple of days to clean the pool, they were very friendly and helpful!
