Sally is a lovely woman and extremely wekcoming! We enjoyed our stay at her beautiful Casa grande and in Burgau. We recommend her place for everyone visiting Burgau, it has everything you need. We will definitely be coming back!

Natercia is helpful and friendly and her breakfasts delicious. The room was pleasant, the bed comfortable and the garden and communal areas pretty and well maintained. The location is quiet and the views from the rooms beautiful.

Monte Velho is a charming place in a privileged environment. Everything, absolutely everything, is designed for the well-being of the guests. The truth is, the week we spent there was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Breakfasts are worthy of a fairy tale; the atmosphere, the rooms, the charming staff, the location, the estate, the temples, the natural park, the beaches of another world, the local restaurants, the views of the sea and the last sunset of the European continent. The animals, the lake - all this makes Monte Velho an unbeatable place. Thanks a lot of thanks a lot!

Casa Grande was one of the highlights of our entire vacation in Portugal! I loved having breakfast with the other guests and learning the rich history of the house!

We loved our stay and recommend this beautiful spot to everyone. Very peaceful, quiet, and filled with beautiful flowers and trees. We loved relaxing on our balcony listening to the birds. However the best part was the sweet pup and cat that greet you each day! We loved Kiku and Amilca.

Casa Grande in Burgau is a great place if you, like our family, prefer to stay off the beaten path and make the place your own. Sally, our hostess, was most hospitable and forthcoming, and let us use the kitchen amenities, and helped us book tables at nearby restaurants and advise us what to see in the Burgau vicinity. The beautiful Burgau beach is five minutes walk away. A café with a small supermarket is two minutes away. We stayed in the blue room suite. It has its imperfections but also lots of character and a tangible sense of history. The building itself is a large, old house. The adjacent gardens are large, but are currently in need of extensive cleanup. The whole house is a sleeping beauty. We felt like at home and have very fond memories of our stay in Casa Grande.

By far the best place we stayed while in Portugal. I surprised as the room looks small in the photos but in reality it’s a good size for two people. Very clean and centrally located.

This place is a real gem with a garden and a swimming pool, which is something you wouldn’t expect from a place in the old town. The location was perfect, 3 minutes to the main square and all the restaurants while still being an oasis of calm. The room was spacious and light with a lovely balcony overlooking the rooftops. Everything was super clean and simply stylish. Not to mention the hosts, Anna and her sister were super welcoming and made you feel right at home. They also offered a lovely breakfast every morning with fresh fruit available all day long. I couldn’t have asked for a better and more relaxing time in Lagos! Would always return and recommend to anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the town while still enjoying the central location.

We stayed 6 nights and had one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. Anne-Marie and Alaine were helpful, kind, and generous. They were there when we needed them but respected our privacy. They greeted us upon arrival, showed us to our room, and even helped us carry our luggage. We had had 9 days of dirty laundry and Anne-Marie generously washed our clothes for us. Breakfast each morning on the terrace was phenomenal, including fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade jams, cheeses, breads, and other goodies, which varied daily. Each morning after we left for our trip to the beach, Anne-Marie tidied our room. The property is beautiful and walking distance to the Salema beach (but expect some steep hills). Our favorite though was Praia da Santa, about a 20 minute hike from the BNB to a relatively secluded beach with a beautiful cave. In the evenings, we enjoyed the view of the ocean in the distance and the breeze rustling through the palms. An amazing stay!

Salsalito is an oasis of calm and peace. There was everything we wished for in a place to stay and more. Sally Anne is warm and kind with a fun sense of humour and very helpful. The breakfasts were just perfect, the most pleasant way to start the day. We loved the garden and pool area, so private and serene. And at the end of the day a clean, cool and comfortable bed which was made every day and clean towels provided. Impeccable. Dreaming of planning my next trip to Sally Anne's already.

After staying at busy places, this magic place was perfect to take a rest. Still, only walking distance from town center and the beach. It was nested along the country side, just on the edge of town. So beautiful and quiet. Everyone was so friendly and nice ❤️.

A really great hostel, excellent value for money. Clean facilities, lots of space in communal areas. Breakfast was a treat, really fresh! Super central location as well, so easy to get around sagres. Would stay again.

What a treat! This was a great stay. Everything was absolutely clean and in excellent condition. Reception was warm and welcoming, ready to answer our questions. The breakfast was fabulous. We especially appreciated the heated drying rack.

We were lucky enough to have a wonderful time at Birds of Paradise. Vanessa and D**k were absolutely outstanding hosts and made our stay memorable with their kind and tips. The house itself was simply stunning. The house is lovingly and stylishly furnished and the outdoor area with pool is unique. The villa is very clean and is insanely well appointed. Breakfast is prepared with a lot of love and offers everything you want. The location of the house was also ideal. Nearby there were beautiful beaches where we did a fantastic surf class. D**k was kind enough to make us contact with the surf school. All in all, I would highly recommend this place. If you want to spend an unforgettable holiday near Arrifana Beach, this is the place for you! We're just sorry we didn't stay longer! We will be back!!

This was a beautiful place to stay with such kind hosts. Everything was perfect, so clean, peaceful, we felt right at home. Highly recommend this place if visiting Lagos. We would love to come back again.

The house is gorgeous. The garden is splendid. Breakfast is sumptuous. It is served on the terrace and offers ultra-fire products, every morning. On the edge of the pool there are so many sun beds, that all guests can enjoy a refreshment in peace. You can spend the whole day, reading or relaxing, to the sound of birds. If you feel like it, the rooftop offers an even wider view of the ocean. The perfect spot for a yoga session. The location is ideal for visiting the Algavre. The nearest beach is minutes away. You have a parking space in the property or in the alley, just across the street. The room is nicely decorated. The bathroom is comfortable and modern. The must here is the welcome you will receive from hosts who are available and absolutely charming. Jonas and Thomas take care to ensure you have a great stay.

Very nice exotic accommodation, well-equipped, very clean and well-located. I loved the contact with Florance and Alain because thanks to them we feel at home, they are always available to help us and are very nice. As soon as we can, we'll go back, you can go there with your eyes closed.

We had a wonderful stay at Nelly’s bed and breakfast. Never have we slept in a wind mill before, is was beautiful! Great host, very welcoming, we felt right at home. Breakfast in the morning was perfect! We are sad we only stayed one night, would definitely come here again!

Beautiful location, the views on the surrounding land are great. The rooms are nicely designed, clean and well equipped. The common areas are super functional. Highly recommend the place.

We had a great time and quiet time. What we missed was a kitchen Away from everything, the restaurants being a 15 min drive it's not convenient Craig could set up a small corner outside with everything you need to be self-sufficient as in the annex he offers for a couple. In the bedroom just a kettle, cups and glass available without spoons or knives To picnic it's a bit fair and the setting is so nice that we want to stay there for dinner! Luckily Craig lent us a few items for an improvised picnic Anyway, we'll come back to the annex!
