Really beautiful house and yard. A perfect place for families with children to relax and spend time. Lovely to go swimming. Carl-Johan is very friendly and helpful. The first time, we will book a longer period of accommodation. Easy to spend the day in Kolmården, short drive.

We've very much enjoyed our stay with Lena & Harald. The cabin was clean, cozy and well equipped for our stay. We were suprised with fresh flowers and eggs from from Lena's hens, which made us feel right at home. Nice and calm surroundings. The spaceous terrace with view over the lake was a highlight. Lena and Harald were very welcoming and hospitable and always responded quickly to our messages. We'd love to come back!

Cozy cabin, nice surroundings. Great contact with the host, easy to reach and communicate with. Beautiful lake to swim in, just a short walk from the cottage.

10/10! Very nice and beautiful. There were all the supplies needed for you to feel almost at home. The stove was the plus! So cute! Very cozy to eat breakfast out among the birds chirping. We wanted to arrive a little earlier to enjoy the day even more, and we did.

Great place! My only regret was that i didn’t have more time to spend in the garden and at the place. Beautiful!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our family of five was traveling through the area and stopped for the night. After a long day on the road, it was such a treat to arrive and find the hot tub ready, towels laid out, and even fresh strawberries waiting for us—perfection! We took a long walk in the woods and loved how peaceful and relaxing the whole setting was. A wonderful stop on our journey. Highly recommend!

Amazing place and fantastic hosts! We were a small group of cyclists, using this house as our basecamp for Vätternrundan. Big spaces, indoor and outdoor.

Ida is very easy to talk to, friendly and helpful. At one point it felt like we been knowing each other for a while or met before. My favourite part of the house is the bathroom space and the bathroom sink are so traditional and beautiful. Large master bedroom with comfortable bed. The large smart tv in the living room was a plus. Thanks for the child crib as well and seat. Not forgetting the flowers and chocolate that we met on the tables as a welcoming treat. The only problem we had was the too much rules which I didn’t pay key attention to during the booking.

We were 5 adults and a dog and there was no problem getting a place. Wonderful patio with lovely forest in front and a large lawn to play kubb on, for example. Recommend this home and will definitely book it yourself more times 😃Sofia

We had some great days in the Skräddarstugan! Completely undisturbed location with beautiful surroundings. The cottage was even better than in the pictures! The host Anders was kind and helpful. Communication with him was quick and smooth. I recommend this accommodation to anyone who appreciates seclusion and natural environments but still proximity to larger cities/communities. We made a day trip to the zoo park, among other things.

(6 adults, 12 days) House + surroundings are fantastic. More beautiful than in the photos. House + kitchen very well equipped. Large master bedroom (wardrobe, bathroom (double shower + bathtub) large bed + TV). 2nd room - nice bed, but no wardrobe, so also smaller. 3rd room has bunk bed and a 140 cm wide bed + dressing room. More like a children's room. We swapped rooms after a week. 2nd + 3rd shared bathroom (shower) + TV room House has large windows, is flooded with light + offers a breathtaking view of the lake. Large terrace with fireplace, grill and various furniture. Negative points: Some kitchen machines + grill were not clean, but this is more due to the previous visitors. The duvets and mattresses showed signs of use. Linda + Michael were always available + very accommodating. I can only recommend the accommodation + would like to spend my vacation there again. Tack så mycket!

A nice and cozy cottage on the river with a wooden terrace three-quarters around and a spacious garden so you can enjoy the sun all day. A cozy kitchen, but equipped with everything you need. We had super sunny days and could therefore use the outdoor kitchen for breakfast/lunch/evening - ideal! The water took some getting used to, but it is not a problem for washing dishes/showering. For sleeping we used the sofa bed in the living room and slept well on it. The conservatory is a beautiful addition to the cottage: from here you can also see the river. Furthermore, there is plenty to do and experience with all the amenities at the cottage: we mainly used the canoe - recommended👍. In addition, there are plenty of hiking areas in the area to make both short and long walks. We had a great time here for a few days!

We spent a week at the end of May with our children and dog in this idyllic log cabin. There are many castles and manor houses to visit in the region, and Stockholm is only 50-60 minutes away from Katrineholm by train. Otherwise, you can relax in the fantastic natural surroundings directly on the lake and let your mind wander. Patricia was always easy to reach and super friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the accommodation!

Super nice and cozy little cabin! Despite a little older cottage, it was very nice and fresh inside, highly recommend.

A gem hidden in nature. Waking up to birds singing and spotting a dear was lovely. The house is comfortable, but you are mainly going to be outside to enjoy the sounds of birds singing while gazing in/over the forest.
