This was such a fun spot. We really enjoyed our stay. The little white church was even more spacious and beautiful than the photos suggested. No complaints during our stay. The location was perfect, we had such a lovely visit. Thank you for the hospitality!!

This place was the perfect spot for our short stay in Alpena. Everything looked exactly like the photos. The house was very clean, and we felt super comfortable here. No regrets!

The house is very accessible to the lake and downtown. Home is in a quiet, safe neighborhood -- great for walking the dog. The host is very responsive to questions.

Check in was easy and the stay went without a my problems.

Clean and comfortable cottage overlooking Lake Huron with easy walking access to the sandy beach. Particularly enjoyed sitting on the back deck with a cup of tea to take in the lake view.

We rented this cabin for a little Bachelorette getaway. It was absolutely perfect! Very clean and welcoming!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and smelled great. Quiet neighborhood with the house located on a dead end street next to a fishing dock and across from a sandy public beach. Having access to the golf cart was a great added touch. The water was low so we couldn’t fish, but it was still a beautiful place to stay on the water. Only issue we had was the back porch doors not having curtains/blinds leaving little privacy after dark and very bright sun coming in in the afternoons. I highly recommend this place to people looking to relax.

Super cute place. Not far from downtown, but enough to not feel crowded. Communication was excellent. House was clean and had lots of little extras, they really paid attention to details. Nice setup for a family stay with infant items available if needed. Lots of water toys, it was too cold for us to use, but loved that they were available. Other outside and even inside games. Again, lots attention to detail. Definitely recommend this place!

Adorable apartment, definitely would stay here again. Brian went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as perfect. The Polish restaurant downstairs is a MUST try!

Wonderful apartment/condo in downtown Alpena. The place is even more spacious and adorable than it looks. Extremely clean and plenty of linens and towels. Everywhere is just a short walk. It is on the second floor but the stairs were no issue for us. Chad was very quick to respond to any messages. Can’t say enough good things.

Great apartment and a great location. Large enough for our family of 4, and loved that we could walk to some great restaurants and the grocery store for something we forgot. The apartment was very clean and had most everything we needed. Erika was super responsive. We had arrived in town early and were planning to walk around to waste time. She texted me out of the blue and said we could check in already, which was very proactive of her—appreciated the clean apartment and great location!

Good place to stay in Alpena. Hosts were super responsive and nice when I had an issue figuring out the lock they came by to check I made it in even though I was checking in a little late.

Margie and Chris were excellent hosts. The communication was great throughout. Clearly, things were thought through to make the guest experience as good as possible; extra pillows, blankets, toilet paper, paper towel, etc. They left pamphlets for the area sights to see, which was very helpful. The weather was hot the first night and cold the last night of my stay and Margie ensured that I was comfortable both nights - and even offered to bring over an extra heater on the cold night. It was a private, quiet place to spend some time, but there is also a lot to do around the area within reasonable driving distance - Connie’s Cafe, which is only 7 minutes away, is a must visit. There is also Dinosaur Gardens right across the street which was pretty cool. The sinkholes and Presque Isle lighthouses are about a 45 minute drive away but are worth the trip if you like scenic drives, lighthouses, nature and plenty of Lake Huron views. All in all, this was a five star stay. Thanks, Margie!

The place is very nice and comfortable. I felt like home away from home. Close and convenient to local restaurants. Chris was helpful and responded in a timely manner. If I am back in town for an extended time this will be my choice of stay.
