Historical holiday house in the Dordogne valley

A lot of history packed in a spacious (1700 ft 2) house equipped with all the modern conveniences. Large bedrooms with each its bathroom. Ideally located to visit the area, Padirac, Rocamadour... Also close to shops and restaurants. Bed linen, towels, wifi and cleaning fees included.

The Boulevard in Beaulieu

An ancient exterior, a modern interior. Our house was built on the ancient fortification wall of the Abbey. These 12th century walls are a feature throughout the house, and keep it cool in summer and warm in winter. All rooms have plenty of natural light, quality furniture, and all the homely comforts you need on your holiday. Only a 5 minute stroll to the river, 1 minute to bakeries and the village centre. The 11th century Abbey is behind our house, so only a short walk to go and explore.

La Petite Maison, Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, France

Great for cyclists, anglers and walkers, a well-equipped, cosy house, 3 minutes walk to central amenities, bars and cafes, and less than 10 minutes walk to the Dordogne River - far enough from evening terraces for a quiet night. Good storage for sporting equipment. There are pretty villages to mooch around, endless fishing spots, biking routes, summer evening markets, waterfalls, walking and wild swimming spots. Electric car charging at 20 paces.

Boscau Manor, Louis IX

Our Manoir du Boscau is located in the Dordogne valley, opposite the majestic castle Castelnau-Bretenoux in the north of the department of Lot. The Manoir was built around 1450 by the Benedictine monk Gilles del Bosce, dean of the priory of the nearby Carennac. The estate consists of a private park garden with various terraces and seating areas surrounded by 10 hectares of forest and meadow, including a small private lake.

Hiking, golf, canoeing, swimming or even hot air ballooning... there's plenty to do.
