Holiday houses in Alviano

We loved spending a week at this beautiful villa, which seems to have been renovated quite recently with wonderful taste, suiting an Italian countryside villa. And the views, breathtakingly beautiful! Everything was even better than in the pictures. We especially enjoyed the pool, the outdoor dining arkea and the kitchen. Perfect for our group of four friends! The villa is a few kilometers from the closest shops, restaurants etc. so you need a car to get around. There were many towns and villages nearby which we enjoyed exploring. All in all a very enjoyable holiday in a beautiful location!

Alice’s house is outstanding. We stayed as a couple with my father. We were greeted by Paola who although didn’t speak English we got by with my little bit of Italian and Google translate! The house was immaculate, tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped. A real home from home. The garden was an oasis of peace and had sun throughout the day. Lugnano itself is a lovely village though quiet at this time of the year ( May) The inhabitants are extremely friendly and happy to assist with your Italian 😁. There are some lovely restaurants and well stocked shops within walking distance. Also great wineries nearby which we really enjoyed. Overall a great stay in Lugnano enhanced by a beautiful property… I didn’t want to leave!

Fantastic villa surrounded by greenery, the interiors are bright and well cared for. The kitchen is complete with everything. The garden is beautifully kept and full of fruit trees. We particularly appreciated the barbecue area, illuminated for the night and with very large grills and the heated pool, which can also be used at night. We hope to be back soon.

Our recent stay at Palazetto di Marmo was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views that surrounded the villa and the charming little village. Traveling with a group of six, we found the villa to be beautifully appointed, offering both comfort and luxury. The sophisticated and masterful interior design truly set Palazzetto di Marmo apart. Each room was designed with exquisite taste and attention to detail. The outdoor terrace and the adjoining pool area provided perfect spots for relaxation. Our days were filled with adventure as we embarked on various hiking trails and visits to nearby vineyards and historic towns. The hosts at Palazzzetto di Marmo went above and beyond in providing us with everything we needed. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful recommendations on local attractions, we felt well taken care of at all times. In summary, our stay at Palazzetto di Marmo exceeded every expectation. We had a wonderful stay! There were four of us and we all had a great time: the room was cared for in every detail, cozy and full of charm, it immediately impressed us. Maddalena was an exceptional host, always kind, helpful and ready to make us feel at home. It's rare to find such a warm welcome. She was flexible and very kind even with the check-in times. The garden and the beautiful dogs and cats that welcomed us were also fantastic. In addition, Maddalena was also super attentive to our request for a gluten-free breakfast, a gesture we really appreciated. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! Highly recommended. We will probably return in the future for a longer stay.

Really classy house, very spacious for two families of four and beautifully furnished. The pool was amazing, cleaned everyday and large. The kids loved it. The location is the highlight - very private on its own hill in a simply stunning part of Umbria. The surroundings have to be seen to be believed. So many beautiful, medieval hill-top villages and towns - and Rome- only 45m by train from nearby Orte. Only issues are mosquitos which you get everywhere at this time of year (and citronella candles work well) and a house book/manual would be helpful. I’d highly recommend this host and property and would definitely visit again.
