Lady Laura The apartment is located in the most characteristic area of Amalfi facing the sea with a wonderful panoramic view of the bay and the city, it is a 2 minute walk to the beach and Piazza Duomo, surrounded by typical bars and restaurants. It is very bright, has a comfortable terrace connected to living room, bedroom, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen, flat screen tv, wi fi, air conditioning.
“This was a magnificent airbnb and Antonio was a superb host. The location of the apartment is unbelievable. A 2 minute walk to the beach or to the center of Amalfi. Additionally the terrace is beautiful and Antonio left us well-equipped with coffee, wine and food. The apartment itself was very clean and tidy. Throughout our stay we even received fresh towels and bedding. Antonio did an excellent job giving us recommendations for local restaurants, small beaches and transportation logistics. We followed most of the recommendations and they did not disappoint! The airbnb was absolutely worth it, making our stay on the Amalfi coast really enjoyable. I can only highly recommend this airbnb to anyone who is looking to stay in Amalfi. Getting insights and recommendations from Antonio was the icing on the cake.”
Just above the ancient arsenals of the first maritime republic, in the center, a large room with wooden intermediated floor, personal bathroom, 2 windows with sea views and bell tower, house that transmits history and art ... and floors of Master potter Giancappetti
“Strategic position, super central (30 seconds from the Piazza del Duomo). The ensuite room was EXTREMELY clean and equipped with anything you could think of, from the biggest to the smallest, e.g. ALL toiletry, even a bowl and some detergent to hand wash some clothes, glasses, wine opener, etc..). This attention to details says it a lot about Enza: she is the most thoughtful and kind host! She was extremely welcoming, flexible about check-in and out, and helpful about touristic info and transportation. We appreciated her kindness and advice greatly. She was available at all times and responsive, and yet she created for her guests a very intimate and private space: the room is part of her house but you feel independent and comfortable. Finally, she made the most delicious Italian breakfast for us in the morning, always with a smile and great discretion. We HIGHLY recommend Enza’s place, on any levels!!! We would go back there ourselves with no hesitation next time we are in Amalfi. Grazie mille!”
The apartment is located in the central Piazza Duomo in Amalfi, next to the spectacular Sant'Andrea Cathedral. Its location offers a wonderful view of both the seafront promenade and Piazza Duomo. Also, you will be within walking distance of all the services you need for your stay: the beach, the bus station, the pier from where ferries leave. It has 2 bedrooms, a living room / kitchen for a total of 5 beds, 1 bathroom.
“Stayed at Andrea's place for 5 nights in February, and everything was just as described. Andrea is a wonderful host, and the apartment is sparkling clean. The location is amazing, actually sharing one wall with the Duomo, and in the very center of town. Amalfi itself was a gem of a town, amazingly beautiful, and very authentic - much less touristy than Positano and Capri. There are a lot of steps to climb, but if you don't like steps, then the Amalfi coast is not the place for you. As stated in previous reviews, the ceilings of the apartment are sloped significantly, and the shower is very tiny, but even at 6'6" everything was manageable for me. The two bedrooms were very spacious, and the kitchen was large and well equipped. The terrace is wonderful, and actually wraps around the apartment, giving two separate, equally spectacular views. https://maps.app.goo.gl/cPErbNeC3ixTTdLn8 Visiting in February was interesting. We were fortunate to have great weather the whole week. A lot of places in the area are closed for the winter, but there still plenty of stores and restaurants open. The ferry schedule is limited during the winter. It was definitely nice to not have to deal with the summer crowds and traffic. We hiked the Path of the Gods, and this was probably the highlight of our trip. Simply breathtaking! Best way to do this is to take bus from Amalfi to Bomerano, then hike the trail, 2-3 hours depending on how often you stop to enjoy the views, to the town of Nocelle. From there you take the bus down to Positano, or you can walk down the 1600 step staircase if you are still up for it. Then another bus from there back to Amalfi. We also hiked to Torre dello Ziro, a castle that you can see from the terrace. This was also beautiful, but much more strenuous, climbing 850 meters elevation, a LOT of stairs. We highly recommend Amalfi, and Andrea's place.”
