This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay. ❤️

Our stay at Luís's place was unbeatable. The place is very clean and tastefully decorated. It is not missing any detail and it is all as and how it is shown in the pictures. We enjoyed a lot of the pool and the good weather. Luís is a 10 host, very attentive, willing and friendly. We will definitely come back and do not hesitate to recommend it! Our second stay- lovely private home with great hosts.

Everything perfect, great quick host to answer and clarify all doubts, during the stay she was very attentive (booking in the restaurant to eat, giving us coffee capsules etc.). The house is equipped with everything you'll need. Fantastic pool. Very large farm, our dog also really enjoyed it. Highly recommended, if we come back to the area someday.

The place is very nice, the house is very nice, comfortable, spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped. We were very comfortable. The only thing I could say is that it would be good to have shampoo and bath gel in the bathroom, even if it's just for the first day. But, we talked to the host and he solved the problem immediately and kindly, which is to be thanked. In short, we would not hesitate to return.

Thank you for this stay was lovely, we drove our car to the property accompanied by Rui and Isabella, only because our car is 4WD, the house is just beautiful, there is no one nearby and very quiet. There are also two bathtubs that need to be heated and enjoyed, it's very cool and relaxing! The house in person is much more cozy and beautiful than in the photos, it is a delight. It was especially nice that when I received a burn through my own fault in the bathroom in the closet there was a burn remedy, this is a very safe and cozy house.

The stay was great! We searched, on the recommendation of a family member, a quiet place to rest and that is exactly what was given to us. Daniela, host, has always been very attentive and has given her utmost to provide us with a spectacular stay! The apartment was fully equipped and it was easy to feel at home! A great house in a beautiful location where you can unite with the mother nature. Américo and Rosalina are very nice hosts. They waited for our late arrival at 10pm to greet us and show the place, making the check-in process as smooth as possible. The house and the yard are very cozy, having a lot of lovely little details. The surrounding nature is gorgeous; the pictures do not show the real beauty. You can see the Milky Way in the night sky, and the morning fog covering the mountains is just stunning. We got the fresh bread in the morning at the gate, which was very delicious. Driving to Porto, Pinhão, and Guimaraes, is about one hour as part of the road goes via a serpentine road with amazing views. We were a company of four adults and two kids, and everything was great. The kids had fun swimming in the pool. I wish we could stay longer at Américo's place. We definitely highly recommend his house!

It was 3 days well spent and with hosts like Mr.Carlos and D.Alice everything is better. We loved all the moments we spent there and recommend this local accommodation to everyone 100%. We hope to return soon

Very spacious house, very well-equipped and very friendly, ideal for a stay with family and teenagers who can have their space. Dedicated parking at the house, nearby. Great welcome and cool drinks on arrival. For swimming, municipal swimming pool and river accessible by car (to the left of the bridge, opposite the picnic area)

We stayed at Pedro's house for ten days with our two sons, 8 and 10 years old. It was very nice there, the children could splash in the pool, we cooked a lot, grilled and read the terrace with hammock and the huge fantastic garden. With the canoe you could go directly from the garden to the river. Nazarè, who took care of the garden every day, told us a lot about the area and gifted us with lemons and vegetables from her own garden. We made excursions through the vineyards and also day trips to Porto and Amarante. Thank you Pedro and Nazarè for the beautiful and relaxing time!

Host was excellent to communicate with . Views were spectacular and the garden and surroundings were very tranquil . An abundance of fruit to pick from the orchard and the Pool was clean and maintained. A great place which is so pet friendly. The only downside is the barking of dogs around the property which at night may disturb the light sleeper . Overall a superb place to stay .

very nice apartment with 1 bedroom and a living room kitchen, very functional and very well-equipped. There is a private car park closed by an electorized gate. This home also has a small garden, an outdoor kitchen and a swimming pool of a beautiful volume. I recommend without hesitation!!

Amazing house. Perfect for some resting days. The host was helpful and friendly, the surrounding is beautiful, calm and peaceful. Swimming pool is perfect and the barbecue was great. All 5*

Stay beyond our expectations. The property was for us alone, many vines and fruit trees, electric gate, in complete safety. We feasted on the plum lemons from the orchards. The views are fantastic among the Portuguese mountains. The pool is perfect for us alone and always this view of the mountains and vineyards. a real paradise of tranquility. The air-conditioned house is very well equipped and clean. The shower room is a little small on the other hand. The huge courtyard with living room and garden table allowed us to enjoy these warm summer evenings. To visit, however, it takes a little more km than we had thought of. We did not have the chance to see the owner, however Manuel was always very responsive for us. Thank you for the wonderful stay near Porto. PS: For people with light sleep, think of the Kies balls because at night a lot of barking, but that doesn't take away all the charm of this property.

It was a great stay, the apartment is great, and Filipe is always responsive. A superb view of Amarante and the surrounding area, an accessible and clean pool. Very good restaurant not far away run by Filipe. We look forward to coming back next year.

Beautiful farm and house! Being able to wander the farm and pick fresh produce to cook was a highlight. If you’re looking to stay out in the country visiting Amarante, this is wonderful!

we had a very pleasant week at ana paula's..the environment is beautiful and very quiet...yet it is very easy to access the roads leading to the Douro Valley or to Porto. the house is spacious. ana Paula is always attentive, without being intrusive. we are delighted with our week.

The stay was excellent: The house, the impeccable pool, the surroundings, the vineyards, and the kindness and excellence of the hosts. The vacation days we spent here were ideal. The best on the route. We were next to Amarante, which pleasantly surprised us, and other cities to visit, 1 hour drive away. Thanks Osvaldo and Magdalena and family for being such good hosts!
