Holiday rentals with a kayak in Amatique Bay

Karen’s place exceeded our expectations. We do not like to travel to areas that are packed with tourists. Staying at Sittee Point was perfect- the village of Hopkins had everything we needed and the vibe was so peaceful. The home and beach area were perfect for our family’s needs. We had access to everything we needed for a wonderful week in Belize. Karen was very responsive to our questions, the caretaker Brian was very helpful as well, and the boat captain Steven was a treasure. If/when we find ourselves planning a trip to Belize again, we will definitely want to stay at Karen’s place.

We loved this place. The view is spectacular. Only small suggestion I would say is to put a little refrigerator in the casita side for cold waters and small items. Thank you for a wonderful week.

We had a great family stay! Very responsive team and great amenities - View is spectacular and super clean. We loved Archie (the local dog team member) as well!!! We utilized the local chef service and they also stocked the fridge with items requested for us for our arrival. Would stay again!

Words really can’t express how beautiful Tamzin’s place was! The pictures really did show just how amazing the space is. There is nothing else we could have wanted this place to be stocked with. Tamzin went above any beyond making sure we felt welcomed upon arrival. Don’t hesitate booking this place.

The house was very comfortable and views were amazing. We loved having our own oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The location is not near the main village so would recommend having your own transportation. The kitchen had everything you'd need so we didn't have to purchase a bunch of additional items like spices. Bed was comfortable and the overall living space was great.

We absolutely LOVED staying at this beautiful home. The house is amazing - exactly as pictured and described. The kitchen is so well stocked! But we were barely inside for the entire week. The location is ideal. We were on the beach and in the water! The paddle board and kayaks were so much fun. We brought our own masks and snorkels and had thoroughly enjoyed swimming/snorkeling right from the house. We could walk down the beach to several restaurants. We rode the bikes to other restaurants. We fell in love with Hopkins and cannot wait to come back and we would definitely stay at Kirsty's house for sure! (While we didn't get a chance to meet Kirsty, we really enjoyed meeting Jay! All of the Luxe staff was so helpful /responsive at all times.

Upon arrival it was hard to find the property because the gps location is to another hotel. The house was really hot and each morning we awoke to standing water on the floor from a leak in the bathroom… the home staff was very helpful but they were rude on the day of check out by coming to the house at 9:45 to ask if they could clean the home before that had guests coming later that day

The house is wonderful. Huge, great for a family, and great for a relaxed secluded stay away from everything. We even extended our stay for another day. The kitchen has everything you need, as well as a washer and dryer. Just make sure you bring enough groceries with you from Rio Dulce because any outing is complicated. The only downside is that it’s very hot and humid, especially during midday, and the living room and kitchen don’t have an AC like the bedrooms, we just stayed in the bedrooms during those hours. We took a day trip to Livingston and Playa Blanca with the aid of Luis, who lives on the property with his family, and they were very nice. But mostly we stayed in and enjoyed swimming in the river and pool, the kayaks and the tennis court.

It's a lovely place on Lake Izabal. The beach looks golden; the house blends perfectly with the landscape. The house is very comfortable, designed to enjoy every space while enjoying the beauty of the lake. It has many environments so it makes it ideal for large groups; many things to do inside and outside the house. Thank you so much for your attention and care.

Absolutely fantastic. The plunge pool exceeded expectations and was very well kept. We found out later in our trip how amazing that shady paradise really was. The dock was a great place to sit and lookout over the ocean for coffee.. for drinks.. for reading- it was incredible. The location, as described, is a little bit north of the main Placencia village, but there were still a few places to walk to and get a nice meal. Otherwise you'd have to rent or taxi to town and then walk around. Most communication for taxis and such were done over Whats App which was really convenient with lots of wifi available around town at the bars/restaurants. Everything was as described. We would definitely come back.

We loved our stay at Maya Moon Cottage! Beautiful location and setting. Flowers Vacation Rentals provided thorough instructions, and were friendly and responsive. The home was clean, well-equipped, and felt private from the larger guest house on the property. Like many past guests, we frequented the pool at the hotel next door. The cottage is about a 20 minute drive from the village of Placencia, so we were glad we rented a car for our family. Getting around was easy (speed bumps, beware!) and there are so many amazing local restaurants to discover.

Beautiful spot. Fun house. Great views. We are a family of 4 which was really tight but last minute we made it work. It’s perfect for 2. Shanna kindly offered an air mattress which we stuffed at the foot of the bed upstairs because there is no air conditioning downstairs where the futon/kitchen is. It was way too hot to sleep downstairs.

The hosts are a very welcoming and lovely family. The food they cook is very delicious and they were very helpful with organizing the ferries. Additionally their hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature and the river is very scenic.

This cabana was perfect for us. It is in the heart of Hopkins to get a really great feel for the town. Very walkable to many good restaurants. Loved the convenience of the grocery store. The cabana is exactly as described and pictured. The loft stairs are more of a ladder but were easy for us to navigate. Kevin and Patty happened to be in town and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Excellent air conditioning and internet if you need it. We drove from Belize City using Crystal auto rentals. It was very easy and we felt safe the entire time. We also took very easy drives to Palencia and Cockscomb. We will be back!

Beautiful place, Don Francisco and his family are very friendly and are always attentive to support you in everything. Don Francisco's wife cooks delicious. The pristine facilities. We hope to be back soon!!

This cabin definitely always exceeds our expectations, Dinorah is a super Host. It has been our favorite option in Omoa for three years now.

We loved the experience at home Manatí, we would stay one night but the place is so magical that we ended up staying 2 nights. The attention and communication with Julio was excellent, he helped us with the request for transport by boat. The location is perfect for relaxing and connecting with nature.

The property is beautiful. Having your own little slice of beach without having to play the lounger game is fantastic. We rented a golf car, which made it very easy to check out the village and even venture a little further north. We have already discussed coming back.
