This place is mesmerizing! My husband and I traveled to this beautiful cottage for our honeymoon, and it was wonderful. We enjoyed each moment spent looking around the cottage at all the intricate details. We enjoyed the relaxing sound of the creek, and we loved every second of it. It’s absolutely beautiful everywhere you look whether you’re inside or outside. Being at Mad Hatter Cottage was a 10/10 experience, and we definitely would love to come back! Thank you for everything; we had the best time!

Absolutely charming and peaceful stay. The cottage was pristine and welcoming and all the amenities worked. We loved the hot tub and the nighttime string lights. So close to a main road but still very private and quiet. Could get around town quickly! So many great places to sit outside and the assortment of games and books was a nice touch too!

Covered patio was a lifesaver, since it rained during our stay!

We had the most amazing stay! We spent all day fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The property was perfect for my outdoorsy kids. The inside of the home was the cherry on top- comfy and clean! We would love to come back again.

The location was stunning. Enjoyed watching the sheep romp about. It was the perfect retreat for a girl’s weekend. Highly recommend!

This place in Monteverde was amazing! We want to give a shout out to Alex, especially. If you see him and he offers to take you through the cloud forest, take him up on it! Alex was so knowledgeable and smart...we learned so much from him and we continue to talk about what a great guy he was! Thank you, Alex, for your time, enthusiasm for the cloud forest, and great dining recommendations! We miss you and wish you a future of success! Pura Vida!

The layout of the house was so gorgeous and homey, and don't even get me started on the bathtub! At no extra cost she decorated the bedroom for our honeymoon, and provided some sweet treats and a bottle of wine. Definitely will be coming back!

We enjoyed our stay, it was an interesting experience to stay in such a remote jungle location. The glasshouse was clean, equipped with everything we needed, and the staff was welcome and provided all support we needed. I would say the privacy was good, however, we could see a neighboring house, and a bit of the road (almost never used by anyone). But once the jungle becomes entirely green, I suppose you will not see anything except nature :) The unpaved road was okay, no issues driving our sedan. however, after rains, it might be a challenge, I suspect. Definitely recommend the place!

A little off the beaten path but an absolute amazing place to wind down especially if you’re looking for a break from the city atmosphere. Kenny was fabulous, the home was perfect or our little reading retreat! Will definitely stay on the list for future travel!

I had an absolutely lovely time staying at Cata’s place! The grounds were beautiful, quiet, and so very peaceful. The pool was lovely (and deep!) with comfy loungers all around. Our room was extremely cozy, with the perfect little kitchen. My dog and I had a wonderful and peaceful time! I miss being there already!

We recently stayed in Sarah’s beautiful cottage by the lake in Hale,MI over Memorial Day weekend.Its a very easy drive from Ann Arbor.This destination worthy cottage is beyond beautiful with Rustic and modern farm house feels! Everything at the cottage is thoughtfully and meticulously planned and you can see the labor of love of the owners at the property. The place is warm and inviting like and we had a wonderful time in this little slice of heaven with gorgeous views. Hot Tub was a bonus since the Temp was still in 50’s.Sarah was very kind and responsive through out our stay. You couldn’t ask for better Hosts!

I appreciate how accommodating Robin was. The scenery and surrounding landscape was absolutely beautiful like staying in a green house cabin with peacocks and serenity. Really a place of encouragement to move into a cabin on land. I appreciated the flexibility and quick responses.

Worth every penny! We have stayed here a few times and it’s always a great trip. Great communication from the host and cabin is just perfect for a successful fishing trip or just a relaxing stay on the lake. Everything you need just bring clothes and food. Fishing is great too and place to tie the boat up is priceless! Oh, neighbors very friendly and welcoming too. We will pick this place every time it’s available. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are always so grateful that Caroline has chosen to share these majestic places with the rest of us. This was our first visit at the Falls (we usually stay at the Bunkhouse). It was incredibly special and was just what we needed to rest after a busy school year. Peaceful, relaxing, with all the amenities we needed. Already planning our next visit. We enjoyed hanging by the creek with the fire pit. We enjoyed soaking our feet in the creek. We enjoyed laying on the couch on the back porch, watching and listening to the falls. It was just perfect, as always.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for our 15th wedding anniversary. This place was absolutely amazing! So peaceful, quiet, private, and CLEAN. It was everything we needed/wanted. It was well worth the price and we’d love to be back one day.

A perfect couples getaway spot that is very open yet very private. The property is set high atop a hill and impeccably landscaped and maintained. The lake views are stunning. Inside is beautiful with windows galore to bring in the wonderful surroundings. Spent Memorial Day weekend with lots of local attractions and activities. Danny was an excellent host - Highly recommend! One note: there are a fair amount of steps to access the cabin on the hill so be informed if that's an issue for you.

I had a lovely stay at this delightful little cottage right on the water. The peaceful environment, cozy fire pit, and easy access to kayaks made for a truly relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed the fishing—it was a great way to unwind. While the cottage is definitely on the smaller side, it’s well-kept, clean, and very comfortable. The only downside was the spotty Wi-Fi plus little to no cell reception, which made it tough to stay connected for things like Zoom meetings. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat without the need for reliable internet, this place is perfect. I’d definitely stay again for a work-free getaway.
