Villa Agung is located right on the black sand beach with direct access to the sea.Nestled inbetween magnificient views over the endless horizon and mighty vulcano Mt. Agung. Amed with its beautiful volcanic sand beaches is one of the best dive sites in Bali with spectacular underwater world. Witness the sunrise in Gazebo or Terrace balcony to understand why Bali is called Morning of the World. Within a 1km walk on the beach you are right in Amed village where the original Bali is still alive.
“This villa is the stuff of dreams in the most extraordinarily beautiful part of Bali, but what elevates it above the rest is the five star concierge service that Wayan and her team provide. Communication, airport transfers, check in were all seamless. Wayan provided us with exceptional restaurant recommendations, organised day trips, massages at the villa (the best I have ever had!) and went out to the shops every day to stock the fridge with our favourite drinks and snacks. She was even able to arrange for yoga teachers and a cocktail barman to come to the villa (although sadly we ran out of time for either!). The drivers were so prompt and also safe. Wayan even popped round with local fruit for us to try and brought us pizza from her friends restaurant! The in house breakfast on the terrace over looking Mount Agung was totally dreamy, and the house staff were so helpful and friendly. The villa itself was beautifully designed, the beds very comfortable and the pool and Gardens gorgeous. Amed feels like Bali 20 years ago, relaxed and peaceful. Despite this I was so surprised in the variety and number of high quality Warungs - tropical sunset, Gusto Resto and for a fancy blow out meal and cocktails Griya villas and spa was well worth the cash! We were so lucky to get to make this trip and I hope people will be able to return to this area soon, you won’t be disappointed.”

“12 days balilia was the best time of my 90-day trip to asia, although i was skeptical at the beginning. Lotus room has a beautiful sea view and a chilled terrace with pleasant wind. The best thing about this hotel was the restaurant, as there was not much space, they put up bigger tables so that guests could share their food and talk and make holiday friends. all guests, staff was super friendly. no flat-rate tourists only long-term asia travelers in transit. which is what makes people interesting. the food was super delicious but only vegan and with fish on request. otherwise very inspiring place. can recommend everyone want to get to know the real bali.”
