We’ve had a lovely stay in a family cottage for 2 days....to start your day in the beautiful garden with a very nice breakfast was heaven, the place lies in the heart of the mainroad, so you’re close to nice restaurants ( try definitely their own restaurant ), the shops and the beach....

Very beautiful place, super peaceful and friendly, you feel like you're alone in the world and the direct access to the beach is magical. The only downside is the food on site which is a little expensive and few other options nearby because it's quite secluded, but it's also part of the charm!

Amazing place to stay, the view was exceptional. Getting to the room was a bit challenging but great cardio, anyone up for an adventure can definitely try this place. It was super close to the downtown area, got good food and good recommendations

Wonderful stay. Coby and the team made us feel at home right away. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were extremely helpful. The accommodation was spacious and clean and the breakfasts were awesome. The hotel is beachfront with a lovely pool and is a short walk from Pottuvil Point. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay!

The accommodation is small but nice. The cabin is functionally equipped and you have little space, everything you need. The resort where she is located surprised us positively. A pool was only a few meters away and most of the time we were the only users. The site is very green and well maintained. The food in the restaurant was good and plentiful and the service in a higher standard than we are used to from the other places we visited in Sri Lanka.

We thoroughly enjoyed our break to Planters House. If you are looking for a little slice of heaven you have found the right place. The gardens and pool area are so peaceful and the views are spectacular. Our room was great and the bathroom lovely too - I even had a nice bath one night. The staff are kind and attentive. We were given a plan for a hike up to Lipton’s Seat from the house. It was a particular highlight for us and we would highly recommend it. The journey up to the house was interesting but once you are there you don’t want to go back down anytime soon!

Beautiful space, stayed there for one night. Staff were helpful. Stay was cozy. Would love to visit again.

I recommend this place for all. Best hospitality, hotel very cute, good view and good personal. Monkeys also) in evening you can pass time near swimming pool. Not far from centr, but you can rent tuk-tuk. Here very fresh air.

The most serene place. The views are stunning especially from the viewpoint where you do yoga. Ayush is very welcoming and does absolutely everything to help and make you feel comfortable. There are also a range of extra activities you can do. I can’t recommend this place enough it was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at Paddway Resort. At the time of writing (Sep ‘23) the place was only a few months old so everything was very new and clean. The rooms were very large with high ceilings and very quiet which was very helpful in a place like A Bay that can get quite loud at night! A short walk off the main road and the pool was the best! There were a few teething issues since it was so new which we are sure will be sorted out in the near future (no drinking water provided and WiFi is only available in the common area and not the rooms)

Surfers paradise. Prime location, the owner is lovely. Air con in rooms and a fan just perfect for us. The pool was full of a group of younger travellers playing volleyball and playing very loud music which meant it was impossible to swim or relax. Other than that just perfect.

I had an excellent stay in Passara thanks to Nilusha. The host was incredibly friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. I highly recommend this place if you’re passing through Passara. Thank you again for your warm hospitality!

The hotel is fabulous. The bedding very clean and comfortable. The room was clean with space ,shower and plenty of wash products. The views were great and location very good for attractions. Food was delicious,plentiful and cheap. The best thing about the hotel was the staff ,particularly Richard and his next in charge (sorry name forgotten ). I couldn't credit more highly. They were wonderful,helpful and friendly. Taking the initiative where necessary too. Lovely to talk to and watch cricket with. Do not hesitate to book. Big Thanks Julie and Matt

We liked it very much in the 3-bed room. Unfortunately, the single bed on the upper floor only got a little air conditioning. We will be happy to come back ☺️

Our stay in Ella was absolutely amazing! Nestled in the mountains, the location offered breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights was the natural pool, which required a 15-minute trek but it was well worth the effort for a refreshing dip in such a serene setting. The food was delicious, and the rooms had stunning views, making our experience even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Janakie, who was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic stay in Ella!

We were completely happy with the place. The view from the balcony is wonderful, especially in the evening when you can take the time to look at the starry sky! The communication with Dominic's girlfriend was very great: helpful, friendly and always available. We celebrated a birthday here and when preparing a small surprise, the entire team was always on hand and supported me in every wish, thank you again! If you are looking for a quiet accommodation, a little away from the city bustle and are looking for a great view, I can highly recommend this accommodation. A tiny hack is the shower, there is an extra connection for the hot water and you can not always optimally set the desired temperature, but for us that was a small problem. We were happy all around.

What about this stay in arugam bay! In 3 weeks of traveling to Sri lanka, this has been our best welcome. The host ( Musa) , is of absolute kindness, he is super responsive, very welcoming and above all very accommodating!!! The accommodation is very clean, spacious, with a very nice little outdoor space. It is ideally located, behind the main street, far enough away to be away from noise and close enough to do everything on foot! There is a very good restaurant right next door (the sketch) as well as a laundry service if needed. I highly recommend this place, which I think is one of the best arugam bay in terms of value for money! Go for it!

Chamin’s place was one of the calm and beautiful place I’ve been during my holidays in SriLanka. The way they welcome us with bouquets of lotus flower, welcome drinks (young coconut drink) and complementary gifts was amazing. The place was located next to a waterfall and the rooms were tidy and clean. The room was plastered with mud where you would feel that you’re enclosed with nature and the stay was cozy enough. The authentic SriLankan breakfast provided during our stay was delicious which I would highly recommend.
