Guesthouse holiday rentals in Amsterdam-West

Gemma and Dirk made sure our stay was comfortable and check in was absolutely stress-free. They were available if we needed help and provided us with tips to get us settled in Heemstede. All the necessary bits are in walking distance including a train station with trains running to Den Haag and Amsterdam every few minutes. The kitchen provides all necessary things and the bathrooms are tidy and one has a big shower. Everything like in the pictures! For good restaurants you'd best take the bus to Haarlem Center. It's a 20 min drive or a nice stroll along the canals. For those considering the apartment please note that all touristy cities require a train from Heemstede. But this was crucial for us to be at rest in the evening. I really enjoyed the stay and would recommend this place to everyone seeking a private retreat off the tracks.

Excellent séjour chez Vera qui est adorable. Le logement est mignon, propre, et conforme au descriptif. Le quartier est magnifique, il y règne une atmosphère paisible et calme. Le petit déjeuner est parfait, varié avec des produits de qualité. Je ne peux que conseiller ce logement.

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

A quiet and well equipped apartment in a lovely location on the edge of the park- long grass, yellow iris flowers and nice views. The walk to the station was easy- allow around 20mins, then frequent trains to the centre. Petra was helpful and responsive- thank you

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Astrid and Thijs are fantastic hosts – incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They gave us lots of great tips on what to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. Their beautiful garden is the perfect place to relax. The accommodation was spotless and flawless. We truly had a great time and would love to come back!

We had a very nice stay at Ton's place. Very quiet place, perfect to rest and to discover Nordholland, its mills and its polders.

Alles was prima in orde! De accommodatie was comfortabel, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het bed lag heerlijk en we hebben uitstekend geslapen. Astrid en Jaap waren vriendelijk en servicegericht; we voelden ons erg welkom. Het ontbijt was werkelijk fantastisch: er werd met zorg rekening gehouden met mijn dieetwensen (koolhydraatarm), en alles smaakte heerlijk. Wij zouden zeker nog eens terug komen!

Het verblijf bij de kukel was na onze bruiloft en wat hebben we hier heerlijk in onze bubbel kunnen nagenieten van onze fantastische dag. Alles erop en eraan waardoor je je echt even helemaal kan terug trekken. Fijn in de natuur en helemaal privé. Een volledig en sfeervol ingerichte B&B. Van een fijne keuken met genoeg materialen tot je beschikking tot een brandschone badkamer met heerlijke stort douche. Het bed lag heerlijk en de jacuzzi en zwemvijver zijn een kers op de taart. Ook staan er nog twee fietsen klaar die je gratis mag gebruiken. Kortom een fantastisch verzorgde b&b. Groetjes W+L

A great apartment for families due to the two separate bedrooms. We loved the seperate entrance and the private garden with a slide and swing for our son. Lovely neighborhood. Top shower and washing machine, open kitchen. Check-in was very simple and everything worked well, so we did not have to communicate much. But when we did, it was very pleasant. We definitely recommend. Thank you, Jesse!

Es ist wirklich eine tolle gelegene Unterkunft in mitten eines schönen Villenviertel etwas außerhalb von Amsterdam. Trotzdem kann man die Innenstadt gut mit dem Bus erreichen. Für uns als Gäste, die mit dem Auto angereist sind perfekt. Und spart sich teure Fahrkosten, spart sich teure Hotelpreise und ist trotzdem schnell in der Innenstadt. Es ist alles sehr liebevoll gepflegt in mitten eines schönen Gartens. Ein tolles ein Zimmer Apartment. DAX ist ein super Gastgeber, der sehr schnell und sehr informativ reagiert hat und wirklich hilfreiche Tipps gegeben hat.

We really loved Emmanuelle's place - we absolutely recommend staying! It is very spacious and wonderfully decorated - lots of interesting furniture, fixtures, and decor. The beds were so comfy and the place is very clean. We only stayed one night and it was rainy the whole time so I can't wait to go again when we can stay longer and enjoy the animals and outside areas too. Communication with Emmanuelle was always a pleasure.

Séjour de trois jours parfait emplacement nickel. L’avantage est ce sont les places gratuites et rien à redire. Nous sommes très contents.

We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf in Huis te Krommenie. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Bauke en Jeanne en kregen duidelijke en leuke informatie over de geschiedenis van het huis (een voormalige huisartsenpraktijk) en hoe de sfeer van de B&B tot stand is gekomen. Daarnaast gaven ze ons fijne tips over de omgeving en goede eetgelegenheden. Het bed lag heerlijk en ook de "oude" douche was verrassend prettig. We hebben echt genoten en hebben absoluut geen klachten of opmerkingen. We komen zeker terug en raden dit verblijf van harte aan!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem liebevoll eingerichteten Gästehaus. Es ist alles vorhanden und in der Wohnung alles selbsterklärend beschrieben. Das Gästehaus ist sehr sauber, das Doppelbett sehr gut und alles praktisch und schön eingerichtet. Die Lage ist top und ein kostenloser Goßparkpkatz nicht weit entfernt. Nel ist sehr zuvorkommend, schnell erreichbar und antwortet auch sehr schnell. Katwjik ist auch sehr schön, vor allem der Strand mit den ganzen Beachclubs. Check in war sehr einfach mit Schlüsselbox. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Die Unterkunft ist auch gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen - in 10min Fußweg und weiteren 13min Busfahrt mit 1x Umsteigen ist man in Amsterdam am Hauptbahnhof. Wir haben den Ausblick über die Felder, die gemütliche Einrichtung und die Terasse sehr genossen :)

Alles fein und unkompliziert, nette Vermieter, danke an Ana und Norbert, für das Wetter konntet Ihr ja nichts😂

Schönes kleines Gartenhäuschen, perfekt für zwei Personen. Einfacher Zugang mit Schlüsselbox. Große Küche mit allem Wichtigen, sogar Pürierstab und Minibackofen. Barrierefreie Dusche mit Shampoo, Seife, Handtüchern und das Bett ist super bequem. Mit den E-Bikes kommt man schnell in die naheliegende Dörfer. Den Supermarkt erreicht man zu Fuß. Die Bushaltestelle ist gegenüber vom Haus. Wir verbrachten am liebsten unsere Zeit auf der Terrasse direkt am Wasser. Ein absoluter Traum! Wir hatten Sicht auf grasende Schafe und nistende Vögel, konnten grillen und uns am Kaminofen abends wärmen. Es gibt zwei Kanus, man kann direkt von der Terrasse einsteigen. Zur Freude meines Verlobten gab es sogar eine PS3 mit anscheinend sehr guten spielen. Der Park in der Nähe ist schön, hat ein paar Tiere und endet an einem kleinen Campingplatz. Antworten kamen sehr schnell. Die Gastgeber sind hilfsbereit und freundlich. Am Tag der Ankunft gab es sogar zwei Flaschen Wein. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit.

Wir haben eine Woche Urlaub mit unseren 1 1/2-jährigen Sohn bei Leah und Tom verbringen dürfen und wären am liebsten noch viel länger dort geblieben. Die beiden haben ein wundervolles, gemütliches Apartment und einen traumhaften Garten, der zum Verweilen einlädt und für unseren Sohn ein toller Ort zum Toben und Entdecken war. Sowohl beim Apartment als auch dem Garten merkt man sofort, dass hier mit viel Liebe ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen geschaffen wurde. Sogar jede Menge Spielzeug für unseren Sohn war da. :-) Darüber hinaus wollen wir eines noch unbedingt sagen: Wir haben bereits häufig AirBnB genutzt, aber so tolle, sympathische und hilfsbereite Vermieter wie Leah und Tom hatten wir noch nie. Sie haben jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden (besonders, wenn es um Tipps für Aktivitäten mit unserem Sohn ging) und es war immer Zeit für eine private Unterhaltung. Unglaublich liebe Menschen! Wir hätten gern mehr als 5 Sterne gegeben! :-)

Paulien and Pim's Airbnb was so beautifull! We loved it. And not only did it look fab, it was a really comfortable and relaxing place to spend time. We also really enjoyed the garden which was very lovely. Paulien and Pim were superb hosts - so friendly and welcoming - we instantly felt at home. Thank you both for a brilliant holiday!

We highly recommend this AirBnB, it is one of the best that I have stayed in! The accommodation itself is beautiful, Mikiel built most of it himself and it is finished off to a very high standard. The decking area is just beautiful, perfect for having our morning croissants from the local Bakery and lovely to sit in the hot tub after a day exploring. The living area is spacious, the bed comfy and the shower worked perfectly. There were lots of little touches which were so thoughtful and my friend really appreciated the gift left for her for her 50th birthday, again our hosts went above and beyond. Our hosts were responsive to queries and flexible as we needed to checkin a bit later. The location was perfect to explore Amsterdam via train and we went to Zaanse Schans by bus which we caught at the top of the road. The houseboat is situated in a beautiful little town with good restaurants, the best recommended by our hosts. Don't hesitate to book this gorgeous AirBnB!

Es war alles toll. Vor allem auch topp Lage nach Amsterdam und Utrecht. Sehr ruhige Nachbarschaft. Schöne Sitzgelegenheiten draußen im eigenen Gartenbereich. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Die Wohnung von Daphne ist super gelegen für Ausflüge nach Amsterdam und hatte alles, was man braucht. Daphne ist eine sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin und hat sehr schnell auf meine Fragen geantwortet.
