Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Amsterdam-West

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Ruud and Peter were great hosts, there to welcome us and provide very useful tips on our arrival and whenever we needed them. The White Tulip was clean, bright and comfortable with a lovely little outdoor area and garden to use. The house had everything we needed, including a big comfortable bed, a large bathroom with an amazing shower. As we had a car we were able to travel the short distance to catch the train to Amsterdam and to visit Haarlem and Ruud's tips allowed us to park for free on each occasion.

We enjoyed our stay at Brenda and Michael’s super clean, spacious, well appointed home. It was full of light and the eclectic decor really added to the experience. The location was ideal, just 2 train stops from Centraal with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the house. Communication couldn’t have been better. We had a issue with the coffee machine and Michael stopped by the same day to fix it. We would highly recommend this Airbnb.

We had a great stay at Michelle’s. She is a very friendly host and answers questions quickly. The place is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, and the commute to the city is easy.

Ein süßes kleines Haus mit Rundumblick in den Garten in ruhiger Lage in einem idyllischen Ort. Die Lage fand ich perfekt…kurzer Weg zur Bushaltestelle, sehr gute Busverbindungen nach Amsterdam und ins Umland und trotzdem ruhig und entspannend nach einem anstrengenden Tag in Amsterdam. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt…

The most perfect little house in Maarssen! Located about 20 minutes via bus/train from Utrecht and 30 minutes from Amsterdam, this gorgeous abode was a piece of heaven after a day of exploring! Upon arrival I was greeted by a few friendly chickens wandering the property and Ewoud, who made me feel right at home with not only great recommendations for Maarssen but helpful incite for bus information/apps and bike rentals. The house itself is so picture perfect cute! Comfy beds, relaxing bathtub, washer/dryer and a lovely outdoor space fitted with patio furniture. Keep in mind the stairs inside are rather steep and spiraling - but I found that it only added to its charm and felt like the bougie treehouse of my childhood dreams (lol). Got a chance to chat with Catelijne and Ewoud a bit on the eve of my departure and they are such wonderful hosts - would 100% recommend and would love to return!

Joost was an amazing host to me and my family! It was the first time that we were traveling abroad with our 11mo son and he made us feel right at home- even had a travel crib set up upon arrival. The location is very convenient - right above a coffee shop which Joost gives vouchers for :) very walkable and overall great space!

Location can no be beat. Beautiful neighborhood. Canals and great restaurants all around. Nice little outdoor space too. Gerrit was extremely helpful with directions and alerting us of train strike. He was always very quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for a great stay!

Laurent is a fantastic host: helpful, always ready to give great advice about his neighborhood and beyond, and super quick to respond to messages. We asked if we could leave our luggage after check-out so we wouldn’t have to carry it around all day, and he was happy to help. On the first day, he even welcomed us with some snacks and wine, and there’s also coffee and tea available. The house is a typical Dutch home, so the stairs to reach the apartment on the third floor are narrow and steep — a great way to stay in shape! The apartment itself is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. The little terrace is really lovely . the neighborhood is a great place to stay: full of shops, bars, and restaurants. It’s well connected by public transport (line 4 takes you to the city center and line 3 to the museum district), but you can also reach the center with a 25-minute walk. This was my best experience with Airbnb. I absolutely recommend it.

Yasmine and Sabah have been great hosts, very friendly and the hospitality was top-tier! They introduced the flat to us and told us everything we need to know. They also repeatedly checked in on us via chat and gave us tips on what to do in the area and places worth a visit that are nearby. They very much care about their guests. The place was very nice, light and clean, with a great and comfortable terrace. We felt at home straight from the go and hopefully will return some day. 😊

Our stay at Vincent's apartment was lovely. It really was super clean, absolutely no clutter, and the bed was very comfortable. The street was quiet and away from the touristy areas. However, it was just a short walk to the busier areas and the museums, a real plus. The steps up to the apartment were indeed very steep. We mentioned this to our Dutch friends and they said "welcome to Amsterdam"! They are part of every house so we accepted this and got used to them. Vincent's Check In instructions were clear and we had no problems. We had a very memorable stay. Thank you, Vincent.

The place is amazing. Quaint , bright and very well thought out. The surrounding gardens are impeccable, the decor is warm and inviting and you feel immediately at home. Are hosts were lovely. Ever present, warm and inviting while respecting privacy and always ready with a smile. Set just a 5 mins walk from the train station you truly can’t beat the location as access to the beach, Amsterdam or all points is literally at your disposal. Uber was also easily accessible. I only hope on our next visit, it’s not so booked we can’t get in. It’s a must stay.

Our stay at Hans’ place was fantastic. It was exactly as described - neat and clean, with great amenities and in an excellent location. Hans is incredibly friendly and a wonderful host. He provided a map of the city with tons of recommendations, and the bikes were so great for getting around. There were nice touches like that all throughout his place, it’s obvious how much he cares about creating a welcoming environment. If you have the opportunity to stay here I can’t recommend it enough. This is everything Airbnb is supposed to be.

Lovely stay at Silvana’s beautiful apartment. Good location - close to tram stops and Foodhallen ( ate there most nights!). Silvana was easy to contact and very helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the apartment - please just note that there are a lot of step stairs and not good if you mobility issues.,

Afke is just the greatest and most caring host - she made the little extra and then a little bit more. Quick replies to our questions and warm generosity with bread from the bakery, a personal note and fresh flowers. Great!

Wir haben zu zweit drei Nächte in der wunderschönen Unterkunft gewohnt. Das Zentrum von Zaandam ist fußläufig (20 Minuten) oder mit dem Fahrrad (5 Minuten) zu erreichen. Nach Amsterdam braucht man mit dem Bus einen knappe halbe Stunde. Yafit und Jerry sind sehr herzliche Menschen. Yafit hat uns am ersten Morgen ein leckeres Frühstück gemacht und zur Begrüßung standen kalte Getränke im Kühlschrank. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man benötigt. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben es geliebt abends, nach einem langen Tag, ein Bier auf der Außenterrasse unter Lichterketten zu trinken. Unser persönliches Highlight der Wohnung ist die Badewanne, welche im Badezimmer durch eine Öffnung in der Wand zu erreichen war. Absolut gemütlich!!

I wish I could give more than five stars! Miguel and Johanna were the best AirBnB hosts we’ve ever encountered. So welcoming, helpful, and kind. Provided lots of recommendations and were so accommodating. Our family of four found the apartment to be perfect for our needs, it was relaxing and peaceful after long days of walking. Miguel made us feel right at home. Thank you Miguel and Johanna for making our time in Amsterdam so wonderful!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Erholung und zum Erkunden. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – ihre Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten waren sehr wertvoll. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr luxuriös eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

In der gemütlichen Wohnung haben wir eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Der Kontakt mit Monice und Pascal war super freundlich und bereitgestellte Infos äußerst umfangreich, so dass wir u. a. schnell einen kostenfreien Parkplatz in der Nachbarschaft finden konnten. Der Bäcker gegenüber hatte leckere Brötchen und Alkmaarscentrum ist fussläufig schnell zu erreichen. Die Wohnung liegt genau an einer vielbefahrenen Kreuzung, aber irgendwie - und ich bin sehr hellhörig und lärmempfindlich - hat dieser nicht gestört, man konnte sehr gut schlafen. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr gut weiterempfehlen.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment. The photos don’t do the place justice. Emilie and Dirk-Jans went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Lovely neighbourhood with easy walking and public transport options.

Perfekt gelegene Wohnung von der man abends einen traumhaften Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Die Beachbars liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zum Zentrum sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Ein Pluspunkt ist der zur Wohnung gehörende und auf dem Grundstück liegende Parkplatz. Wir können das stilvoll eingerichtete Beachhouse auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Peter’s apartment m was fantastic— a completely equipped and cozy flat in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods I’ve ever seen. We received ample communication and great recommendations. The value is definitely there in terms of places to stay in Amsterdam!

An absolutely perfect location from which to enjoy the city! It's a short tram ride to pretty much anywhere you want to go in town, and a short walk to lots of restaurants, shops, and lovely canal views. In the summer, being on the top floor may make the inside a bit too warm, but the windows open wide and the rooftop outdoor patio is large, surprisingly quiet, and perfect for relaxation, eating, and conversation if the weather is nice. In other words, the true Amsterdam canal-house stair climb is well worth the effort. Overall a very comfortable studio flat, good wifi connection, and a responsive and respectful host. Thank you, Sun!
