Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Amsterdam-Zuidoost

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

It's a special home, one-of-a-kind that offers beautiful design and comfort. We stayed a number of days with our dog after a hectic time and enjoyed resting in the beautiful and private environment. Very comfortable beds and living area. The town of Nijkerk is lovely with pedestrian areas, restaurants, and train station with 30 minute ride to Utrecht, where we went to explore.

The accommodation perfectly matches the photos and description. The house is equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen and coming by plane from Italy this was very much appreciated, we only had to buy food (the supermarket is a 5-minute walk away). The area is quiet, full of greenery, and the parking is free and right outside the house. Chris was very kind and always responded quickly, giving us useful information. Check-in was quick and there was a lot of flexibility on the schedule, even for check-out. Nieuw Vennep is an excellent starting point for many cities and towns, if you rent a car.

Great property and just as described! We stayed here for 9 days and loved the place. There were so many great places to eat and drink in the surrounding area. When we come back, we will definitely look at this place again. Thank you!!

This place is quirky - just like we expected Fabulous to sit out and chill on the canal - right outside of the property This property is very traditional so do not expect sleek modern finishes in all areas It was an amazing traditional visit

We had four great days in the accommodation (three of us). The location of the accommodation is excellent, in a busy area and yet somewhat secluded, as it is above the harbor basin. The view from the roof terrace is super beautiful in the morning, as well as in the evening. Spacious apartment with space. In the kitchen block, a few things are missing (cutting board, sieve) and there is no real oven, only a large multifunctional device with grill function and microwave. The excursion destinations are super diverse and there is something for everyone (sporting activities on the water and outside), trips to Amsterdam or Utrecht, bike tours, museums... Catherine or the colleagues from the port office are always available during the day if you have any questions. Note: The accommodation can only be reached via an external spiral staircase. Felix's apartment was great. We spent four days there and unfortunately had bad luck with the weather. Despite the weather, we had a great relaxing time through the apartment. Felix is super nice and responded very quickly to messages. He personally welcomed us and was very flexible both on arrival and departure. Mo is a wonderful person. Extremely polite and willing to help with any problem or question you may have. Very helpful, I recommend staying with him to everyone. The place is extremely quiet and comfortable, and the atmosphere is pleasant. His dog Alba makes the experience even better. He helped me with everything I needed throughout my stay. The apartment is in a great location, about 10-15 mins walk from the central station, Nieuwmarkt, Rembrandtplein etc. The apartment itself is funky and has lots of art and souvenirs from their travels around the world which makes it interesting and feel like home. There is a great view across the canal and two balconies. The facilities are just as described with everything you need for a few days or more. We were welcomed by the owner’s son who was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for your time in Amsterdam. Thanks for a great stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful three-day stay in Amsterdam! Tanju was incredibly welcoming and warm from the moment we arrived. He took the time to recommend many places to visit, from must-see tourist spots to lesser-known local gems. Thanks to his advice, we were really able to fully enjoy our stay and discover unique aspects of the city. The apartment was impeccable, comfortable and perfectly located, which made getting around very easy. Again, thank you for this exceptional experience. Great spot to stay in for what we needed! Staying for a couple of nights before heading off fishing about 90 mins away. Easy to access Amsterdam, 3 stops on the train and 5 min walk to station. Chi’s place was great. Boss games room and loads of space to chill and relax. Will definitely be back 👍🏻

We stayed at Shirley's place in Bussum for just under two weeks, and it was fantastic. The home is exactly as depicted—lovely, cozy, and spread across three floors plus a basement. It's essentially a duplex, but we never heard any noise from the neighboring unit. The kitchen was well-equipped for light evening cooking, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. Accessing the home was easy. The location is convenient, about a 15-minute walk from Bussum-Zuid NS train station. There's also a 109 bus route nearby. The area has much to explore: a nature preserve to the south with a small café, a shopping district to the northwest, and an Albert Heijn for groceries—indispensable! The neighborhood is quiet, with protected bike lanes and sidewalks. Cars almost always stop for pedestrians and cyclists. You'll see people young and old cycling late at night. It's a very safe area! Shirley is an excellent host—responsive and helpful. This place is a great choice for families, offering a good value.

Our week end at Mickey’s was very nice. The house is very spacious and peaceful. We loved the big windows and the garden. We also enjoyed some trips to Amsterdam even if it is better to go by car rather than with public transport which are longer. The rooms and bathrooms were perfect (we were a group of 8 friends including 2 couples). Mickey was even available on during the week in case we needed some help or just to answer to our questions. There is a supermarket really close to the house (5 min by walk) which is also really helpful!

We had a great stay. It's not far to Amsterdam. The place is totally beautiful and super clean. We would come back!

First of all the host is incredibly welcoming and proactive. He is very communicative and responsive to all your needs. Also he is very flexible with the check in and check out times. In addition, it is an amazing home that is near all the facilities you need to make your vacation a perfect one. Wonderful restaurants are in walking distance as is the supermarket and public transportation is easy accessible. The house was spotless and even better than pictured in listing. The host left us a wonderful welcome present to make us feel at home. In addition the house was stocked with all the necessities. In summary the house is filled with top-notch amenities, has an amazing location and an incredible host to give you and your family an unforgettable vacation. We definitely will be back in the near future.

Jaron and Jill were very nice hosts. We had an issue with the drain and Jaron took care of it right away. Parking was possible right outside the door. The furnishings are tasteful and the terrace has great evening sun! The town of Limmen doesn't have much, but at least a good supermarket and bakery within walking distance and the surrounding area is great! We felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back.

We were in Amersfoort for an extended weekend and were allowed to be guests in the beautiful house of Anne-Sophie and her family. Everything was well prepared and the key handover worked smoothly. The house is cozy and we felt immediately comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Thanks to very good mattresses in all beds, we also slept great. The house is centrally located and is about 500 m from the main train station and about 2 km from the city center and you can reach everything on foot. In any case, I recommend this house and Amersfoort is worth a trip anyway!
