Clare's place is at a prime location, especially if you have dogs, the dog beach is right there. The property = lifestyle + living, great area downstairs for a BBQ and games. Place was neat and tidy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing experience! The home was cozy, beautifully set up, and in a great location. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. Truly felt like a home away from home!

This was such a lovely beach home, the kind you dream of! It was wonderful having views of the water from every corner of the home. Everything in the home was beautiful and thoughtfully furnished. We tried kayaking and fishing and enjoyed it very much. The boys enjoyed playing on the lawn outside and the husband prepared a simple bbq on the patio. The kitchen was also very well equipped. We enjoyed our stay here very much and will definitely be recommending friends over!

The apartment was beautifully decorated, clean and cozy. we appreciated the thoughtful touches, the check in was smooth and easy. Lovely bright airy quiet house with a great backyard for pets. Walking distance from shops and the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything exactly as advertised. Clear instructions. Immaculate. Despite a rainy weekend, the house still felt warm and cozy. It had everything you could need, from a baby cot to a coffee machine, game boards, basic condiments in the kitchen, additional pillows... Loved the heat fittings in the bathrooms. Lovely back view to little forrest. Anthony was clea r with his messages. Totally smooth transaction.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Jenny's place. The location was central to a great lookout, pristine walks and a beautiful beach. The place was the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed at and was very well equipped. Jenny was very friendly and responsive - we look forward to staying here again!

The location is good for a walkable distance of everything If you don’t mind climbing a steep hill and then walking up four flights of stairs. The apartment is fully equipped with all necessary amenities, and the kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need—just like at home. Please note that the air conditioner is only located in the living room. Due to the apartment’s long and narrow layout, with the bedroom situated at the opposite end of a long hallway, the AC has no effect on the bedroom temperature. This results in two extreme temperature zones within the apartment. As the apartment is somewhat aged, its insulation and soundproofing are limited. You’ll need to be especially mindful to keep noise levels low in order to avoid disturbing the neighbours.

Stayed at Cath and Alex’s place for a couple of nights. Close to restaurants and a short drive to shops. The property is great for a short stay, it is clean, bright, comfortable and easy to get to everything you need - definitely recommend to others. My friend and I had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed for a weekend sans kids and husbands. I would highly recommend this home for anyone wanting a relaxing stay, with magnificent views and in walking distance to all Shoal Bay has to offer, in Shoal Bay.

Nicky was friendly and a pleasure to deal with from the outset. The property was exactly what we expected as a result of seeing the photos in her listing and very comfortable and extremely clean. The view out the front of the unit across the water was amazing. The beds and linen were wonderful, so we slept soundly each night, and the kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed, so much so, that we felt it was our own. We couldn't speak highly enough about our stay, so happy to return sometime and to recommend it to anyone looking for a quality property at an awesome location. Thank you Nicky.

Great value for money, the QT hotel is just down the road, but much preferred the space and amenities available in the apartment. Plus the price was much better. Beautifully styled with quality inclusions. Location was fantastic, we took bicycles and thoroughly enjoyed the harbour and coastal tracks.

Loved the view from the loungeroom & balcony. Everything was neat & tidy. Lots of books, DVDs, etc. Great smart TV. Beds were comfy. Nice & roomy apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Had a lovely time.

This place was incredible! This holiday unit was beautiful, clean, ocean view, spacious and with all the amenities available including the pool and gym- I could not recommend this place enough. Lorraine was nice and really easy to communicate with, Thankyou for letting us stay at your place 😊

Perfect for a weekend or even long term getaway. Location was great, right in the heart of the city, 5-mins walk to a couple local pubs, cafes and convenience stores and 15-mins walk to beach and light rail interchange. Also noticed quite a few buses with different bus routes around the area as well. Check in was a breeze and not that I had any issues but Mel was quick to reply once I had advised check in and check out. The place itself was fantastic, ducted air con throughout, 2 very big comfy beds, large lounge area and huge dining area with a kitchen that had what you need to cook for a large group of people, if you wished. Having access to a washing machine and dryer is always a plus, esp. when there’s a 2nd toilet and the bathroom was clean as well. Would definitely look to stay there again if going back up to Newcastle.

Loved this place, the host and the parkland around. Very convenient. Perfect independent little cottage with all amenities needed. Look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Adam's place. Loved the large deck - great for kids and adults alike. Everything was as per the description and photos on the website. It is a lovely open plan space. Everything you might need is within walking distance supermarket, bakery, Cafe, Golf Club. Playgrounds and of course the beach and river. Hawks Nest is a beautiful place we will be back.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

This accomodation was outstanding. Great location and the unit was equipped with everything you needed including some thoughtful items like a coffee machine, condiments in the fridge to a variety of tea and coffee selections. Communication was on point with step by step instructions on how to access the unit and Mark was very reactive to emails. The outlook was amazing, listening to the sound of the waves and the sunsets ❤️. I will be back..
