This house was built in 1870, it is a stone structure and was used as a family farm home. It has been remodeled for its use today. It is historically correct, which includes antiques of the time. Post Civil War era, furniture including the beds of this period. Another interesting aspect, is that the floors are all original. Mattresses, blankets pillows, bedding and towels are all new. The wine cellar that we have added, made on location. I always leave some out for guests. No fee.

The space is a rustic themed guesthouse retreat located above our detached garage overlooking the shared pool, patio and outdoor kitchen/ bbq area. There are stairs to climb leading up to your space. In the early mornings and afternoons you may spot deer grazing in the backyard. Pet friendly - SMALL dogs only under 40lbs. and a limit of 2.

This lovely rural cottage is nestled back in the woods on its very own private acre of land. It offers guests a beautiful getaway experience while at the same time being just a 7 minute drive from downtown Eureka with its many delicious restaurants and adorable boutiques. Six Flags is a brief 10 minute drive, and Purina Farms is 15. We have ample parking for multiple vehicles and a completely fenced in yard great for 4 legged friends.
