Guesthouse holiday rentals in Anuradhapura

Host was very nice, this is a house owned by him and he has a grounds keeper on site to help with guests. Many rooms in the house. We got in late and the owner made sure to come and receive us. The electric sockets in our room didn’t work, bathroom door was a little diffuser to close. Breakfast was great though and was Sri Lankan food which they can make if you ask them. Good value for money

Our stay in Anuradhapura with Indra was absolutely amazing! Indra was such a gracious and welcoming host, making us feel right at home from the start. One of the highlights of our stay was playing Mafia together on rainy days – it was such a fun and memorable experience! Pair that with delicious pizza nights, and it felt like the ultimate cozy getaway. The accommodation itself was fantastic, offering so many things to do on-site. We loved playing karom, which added a fun competitive touch to our evenings. The shared living space was a great spot for everyone to gather, relax, and connect, making it easy to meet others and share stories. The vibe of the place was so warm and friendly, perfect for unwinding after exploring the ancient city. We had such a wonderful time and would highly recommend staying here if you’re in Anuradhapura. Indra’s hospitality and the thoughtful setup of the space made our visit unforgettable!

Une grande maison de charme perdue dans un jardin, une ambiance très 19ième. Située entre les ruines nord et sud, l'accès aux temples est idéal surtout avec les vélos prêtés par le propriétaire. La cuisinière vous concoctera de délicieux repas et un breakfast hyper copieux .

5 min drive to the Lion's rock. We loved our stay at Sisira's place. His family were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Easy and flexible check in. The food were very tasty.

We had a great stay at this place. The host was friendly, kind and helpful. He made us the best breakfast, gave us good tips what to do and drove us with his tuk tuk to different places. Don‘t miss the sunrise hike to pidurangala rock.

Vi havde to fantastisk nætter hos Green Wood. Fra første sekund tog de søde værter imod os med smil og latter, de fik os til at føle os hjemme og velkomne fra starten. Værelset var rummeligt og rent, derudover var der en dejlig terrasse hvor man kunne nyde en kop the eller andet i de rolige og smukke omgivelser. Green Wood er placeret blandt træer og uden støj fra vej, men samtidig i gå afstand fra alt der er relevant i området, så beliggenheden kunne ikke være bedre. Sidst men ikke mindst lavede vores vært det mest fantastisk hjemmelavede Sri Lankanske mad til os, både morgenmad og aftensmad var fantastisk. Tak for et dejligt ophold og for at smitte os med jeres grin, smil og positive energi.

Die Unterkunft von Anura und seiner Frau ist in einer sehr schönen Gegend in Sigiriya. Zwar etwas abseits, aber dennoch mit TukTuk, Roller oder Fahrrad alles schnell zu erreichen. Der Lions Rock oder Pidurangala Rock sind jeweils in 50min. per Fußweg gut zu erreichen. Ich habe mich von der ersten Sekunde an sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Klimaanlage funktionierte prima. Das Highlight meines Aufenthalts war allerdings das Essen. Anura kann phänomenal kochen, es gab jeden Abend etwas selbst gekochtes aus der Sri-lankischen Küche mit Dessert! Ich kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen - Ich komme gerne wieder!

It was a great place for my family. The place is nice and clean. All tourist attractions are neear by. Manuska is a calm, peaceful, and helpful person, He would do anything to make your experience a better one. The food was delicious, and his whole family was friendly and trustworthy.

The best airbnb ever. The woman who helped us gave us tea every day which was very cute and sweet. She helped us with everything and she’s an angel. The garden was amazing and the room was very big and clean. Definitely recommend!!! ❤️

Empfehlung! Ein wunderschönes, kleines und noch sehr neues Resort. Alles ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Einfach ein traumhaft ruhiger Ort mitten im Nirgendwo. Das Team ist sehr jung und unglaublich freundlich und engagiert. Alle sind sehr hilfsbereit und wollen das aller Beste Erlebnis für die Gäste. Wir können das Resort von Herzen weiterempfehlen! Das Essen war zudem sehr lecker. Wir hatten einen Tag unser Frühstück auf der Aussichtsplattform mit Blick auf den Lion und Pidurangala Rock. Atemberaubender Ausblick! Der Pool ist im übrigen auch ein Traum!

È stato molto piacevole soggiornare da Suranga. La camera era molto pulita e ordinata. Abbiamo trovato a nostra disposizione A/C, TV,il frigorifero,un bollitore per l'acqua con scelta di te a disposizione e asciugamani anche per l'uso della piscina. Abbiamo usufruito anche del servizio ristorazione per la nostra cena che era semplice ma molto buona. Lo staff è stato molto gentile e disponibile per ogni nostra richiesta. La posizione è perfetta molto tranquilla ma a soli 10 minuti di tuk tuk dal centro della città (ricca di negozi e ottimi ristoranti) e 10 minuti dai siti antichi di Anuradhapura. A piedi in pochissimi minuti si può raggiungere lo splendido lago dove è possibile fare il bagno. Ci torneremo volentieri! grazie ragazzi!

Nice and warm welcome. Very attentive staff and great location for a few days of sightseeing in sigirya! Restaurant offers delicious food for breakfast/lunch and dinner. Highly recommend

we had a wonderful stay here. The room was very clean, the bed very confortable. The AC was working very well, so we had a refreshing sleep. The communication with the two ladies was easy going. They were always ready to help us. We will come back for sure.

We had two nights in this beautiful place. The hosts are very friendly and flexible. You can also Rent a scooter for daytrips which is great. I recommend trying the awesome breakfast and Dinner. A very nice family and hosts.

Wow, what a stunning property - it is beautiful and extremely peaceful. It is a bit outside the main town, which makes it a perfect place to stay if you want to be immersed in nature and more secluded from the crowds. It is located on one of the lakes that is part of the bird sanctuary, which makes for great bird watching over breakfast. There is a beautiful view of the lake and some of the stupas from the top deck (go up to see the stupas lit up at night). Our room was lovely, spacious and very clean. We had breakfast and dinner, and all the food was fantastic - perhaps the best food we had on our trip (and I’m Sri Lankan so I have a high standard). Everyone working at the property is incredibly kind and wants to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. It was very cool to hear about the owner’s family and the way their heritage influenced the beautiful design of the property. This is such a unique stay - you really feel like you are guests in a friend’s house.

Bardzo polecamy pobyt u Salindy i jego rodziny, są oni bardzo przyjaźni i pomocni, zaoferowali nam bardzo dobre śniadanie i kolację, udostępnili sprzęt do wyprania ubrań po safari, które swoją drogą organizują w dobrej cenie, wiec polecam skorzystać z usługi. Pokoje były czyste, klimatyzacja działała bez zarzutów.

It was our first hotel in Sri Lanka and couldn’t be better! Milan helped us with an early check-in with no hesitation. The room is simple but have everything you need for that price. The location is quiet and calm and have a direct access to the lake pathway. Milan also arranged for us two tours with tuktuk to Mihintale and the Sacred City of Anuradhapura, and even one to the bus station when we had to leave. We highly recommend this place!
