Our stay at Neverbeen accommodations in Sigiriya was exceptional! Nimmi, our host, went above and beyond to make our research trip comfortable and memorable. The accommodation was cozy and well-equipped, providing us with everything we needed after a long day of exploring. The breakfast served was delicious and felt like a true taste of Sri Lankan hospitality. We truly appreciated the opportunity to experience Airbnb in such a unique way and are grateful to Neverbeen for facilitating this. This was a perfect lodge and base for our safari to Wilpattu National Park. Kamal and Thushara were excellent hosts and helped organize a private safari for me and my wife at a fair price. The driver was excellent and got us to all the best spots and we had incredible luck. We had close encounters with basically every species in the park including a big bull elephant, a leopard, and two separate sloth bears! The lodge itself was a very relaxing space with a nice soaking pool over looking rice fields which offered excellent bird watching. We even had a toucan on the balcony the last morning! Manju and the other staff were amazing as well and his wife’s food that she prepared for us was excellent. Some of the best Sri Lankan cuisine we had on the trip. If you are looking for privacy and comfort for your Sri Lankan safari Life of Leisure and Wilpattu National Park is a perfect choice.

If you’re a nature lover, this is the perfect getaway for you. Imagine waking up to the soothing melodies of birdsong—it’s an experience we thoroughly enjoyed. Make sure to arrive before dark, as finding the place can be a bit tricky after sunset. A special shoutout to the chefs—they are truly exceptional! The food was not only delicious but also prepared with great care, and their friendly and helpful demeanor added to the charm of our stay. All in all, it’s a stunning haven nestled in the heart of a lush forest—a serene escape surrounded by nature’s beauty.

Had a lovely 2 nights at Yohann’s place. The house and grounds are beautiful in a very secluded area but easily accessible by car on well maintained tarmac. Chamara and Sampath were on site to help us check in and show us around the accommodation. They also provided a lovely bbq dinner on our arrival with excellent subsequent meals made completely according to our preferences. Would love to stay again and I’d highly recommend Yohann’s place.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. Everything—from the warm welcome by the team, to the delicious food, to the stunning view over the lake—was just perfect. Kumar took excellent care of us, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Superbe emplacement avec une très belle villa et une superbe piscine. Selvie et Selva ont été des hôtes chaleureux et plus que serviable. Je recommande vivement. Le seul petit point noir est la route pour y accéder. Comptez 20 minutes de Habarana mais on s’y fait très vite. Merci Paul pour cette belle villa.

This place is in a very peaceful and calm location next to a lake and rice fields. Anthoniyo is a very nice guy. We arrived after dark, and he picked us up from the main road. We were greeted with a nice cup of Ceylon tea. The room was very clean, and all amenities were provided. And the AC worked great! He took the time to tell us about the interesting places to visit and the Sri Lankan culture. Laundry service is also provided. If you're planning to visit Dambulla, this is the place to stay!

Our family group (incl. grandparent and grandchildren) loved our stay at Dhona’s Villa, we especially loved enjoying the pool in the afternoon after a day of exploring the area, and having breakfast and dinner on the deck. Shout out to the caretaker Pasindu who was so warm, friendly and helpful, including helping organise a safari for Hurulu Eco Park. Unfortunately our stay was cut short on our final night due to an electrical issue at the property, however Pasindu and Ajith relocated us promptly to a nearby property.
