This was the listing in a great walkable area and the owner not only picked us up from the train station, but also took us to the hirosaki Park, gave us great recommendations, and dropped us off at Hirosaki station when we couldn’t find a taxi. Hands down the best airbnb experience I’ve had.

Nyok Peng was such a wonderful host! She actually encouraged us to take the later train so we could enjoy the cherry blossoms longer, so thoughtful! Then she picked us up from the station. The place was just like in the listing: cozy, clean, and comfortable. In the morning, she made a delicious homemade breakfast for us and the other guests, and then kindly drove us back to the station. Just a heads-up, the house is a little outside Hirosaki, but for one night during peak cherry blossom season, it was totally worth it.

I stayed for 2 days and 1 night with 6 people. She was a very kind host, and we had a very pleasant stay throughout. They also gave me tourist information, etc., and I felt that it was a very good trip. It was such a great place to stay again if I had the opportunity to go to Aomori again!

This is a wonderful AirBnB. I wanted to start my review with some information about the stay itself, as I found the listing a little confusing. This is a 4 bed room that can sleep up to 8 people. 2 beds are in the lower portion of the room, 2 beds are in a loft that is accessed by a ladder/staircase in the center of the room. The room is completely private and yours for the duration of the stay. The bathroom and kitchen are both common. Being shared between the entire household. The Host: The host couple are absolutely wonderful. Very kind, helpful, and full of local recommendations. They will even pick you up from the train station and drop you off at Hirosaki Castle. Then return you to the train station at the end of your stay. The Location: The location could not be better. It is in a peaceful neighborhood less than a 35min walk from Hirosaki Castle. The Accommodation: The entire house was clean and safe. As a bonus, it is a truly beautiful home. Will gladly stay again.

This Airbnb is more like a true bed and breakfast than a hotel or apartment. It is a beautiful Japanese household with a friendly family. Though a bit far away, we were able to attend the Nebuta festival and stay here for the night. All of the closer places were booked due to the increasing popularity of the festival. The home cooked breakfast was delicious and the hosts provided clear instructions on how to navigate shared spaces. They were also flexible with our travel arrangements. It was convenient that the host was willing to drive us to and from the station!

1. The first time to Hirosaki, come with the purpose of looking at cherry blossoms, the night cherry blossoms are particularly stunning. During the day, walk in the cherry blossom tunnel of Hirosaki Park, looking up at the cherry blossoms and Iwaki mountains in the blue sky, full of eyes in spring!Stayed for three nights, watched 4 times, went every day, immersed in the beauty of cherry blossoms! The cherry blossoms are beautiful, and the sakura raft is also rare, so it's the first place to admire the cherry blossom! 2, I live on the 1st floor, the air conditioning is fully turned on before going in, the house is big and very quiet, I like tatami, and the whole is very comfortable. 3. During the period, I went to Wusho Kawahara, I took the Tsugaku Railway, the cherry blossoms in Ashino Park are very beautiful, the station is old, and the railway is old, but I especially like it, like sitting in the time tunnel, it reminds me of my childhood, it is relaxing! 4. Mr. Kazu told me that Hirosaki besides cherry blossoms, and there are sleeping demons, it is an old Japanese culture, it may be more lively at that time, I really learned so many things, it is very rewarding! 5, I like to come back every evening and chat with the host couple, tell them where I'm going today, where I'm ready to go tomorrow, and one night they delayed their and their daughter's video calls, I'm sorry!Ms. Kaoulu also talked to me about Chinese TV and Japanese TV series, she stayed in Kamakura before, so we talked about "Gishi" and Changji Temple, I'm so excited! 6, Kazu couple are especially good, here to say to Mr. Kazu, sorry, because I went to Ryu Feisaki Shinkansen tickets sold out, resulting in a temporary adjustment of the trip, ask him to help him to revise the time of booking the taxi three times, really very, very very touched and thank you!!I accidentally took the key to the bedroom when I went, and he didn't blame me, it was really a gentle person! 7. To the northeast of Japan, more than I expected, it is a place worth visiting repeatedly, next time I have the opportunity, I will come again and see the sleeping devil!
