In the municipality of Rhêmes-Notre-Dame, in the Gran Paradiso National Park, the hamlet of La Chaudannaz (1,795 m above sea level) is surrounded by larch forests, among ancient ovens and mills. 5-minute walk to Lake Pellaud with its restaurants. The cross-country ski track passes next to the house, the snow park is 1 km away and the chairlift is 3 km away. In winter, with the road closed, transportation is guaranteed by snowmobile or snowcat. Free check-in and check-out, extra transportation available for a fee.

The house is located 10 kilometers from Aosta and the highway exit, 40 kilometers from Cervinia and Courmayeur, and ten minutes from the Pila cable car.
