Growing up on the property, the cabin represents a lifelong dream, built by the hands of my hard working father, whose talent you will notice in details all around the place (pay attention to the ceiling in particular, where you can notice mirrored wood panes, layed out carefully to represent the lenght of the tree).

Cozy converted barn with fireplace; nature retreat

Newly restored and converted barn, a magical space with lovely views of the surrounding mountains and hills. The barn is ideal for 2-3 people, but can accomodate a maximum of 5, with a double, a single and a sofa bed (access to sleeping space requires climbing stairs or a ladder). 20 metres from the barn, there is wood and a fireplace for an evening chat and stargazing by the fire. An outdoor shower with solar heated water is also available. The kitchen is functional and has amazing views!

Situated in the top of the hill,the building was relocated and completely restored in 2017 on the former domains of Count Zichy from the Austro-Hungarian period. The old barn recreates the atmosphere of the end of the 18th century,offering the current and modern confort. Also,the “OLD WOODEN BARN” offers a wonderful and unique view of the pine forest that surrounds this dream landscape. .

Enjoy nature with a spectacular view. A small cozy cabin for two, perfect for city escapes and relaxation, perfect for couples retreat. Please take into consideration that the cabin is not for children or infants. Maximum 2 grown-ups. Also, consider, that during summer, on the perimeter there can be up to 6 turists who also share the surroundings with you. It is a secluded location from towns and villages, but not a cabin in the middle of nowhere.

READ BEFORE BOOKING Please note that the last 30 minutes of the journey to our cabin are on dirt roads. We recommend using a taller vehicle to ensure a smooth and comfortable drive. During winter time we highly recommend using an SUV 4x4 vehicle. This scenic route adds to the sense of adventure and seclusion, making your arrival at the cabin even more rewarding. Learn what it means to relax at our unique bohemian nook at the entrance in the Apuseni Mountains. 4G Wi-Fi and private parking are also available to ensure a carefree stay.
