Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Arcozelo

We loved staying at Marta's. She was always there when you needed something or had a question and was always friendly. The room and the kitchen are actually really hard to order as described, but the pictures look a little different than in reality. You can also make some cornflakes or bread for breakfast in the kitchen, but of course you can have a better brunch in downtown Porto. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable and can't criticize anything about the apartment. Three successful days for us.

I have traveled to many cities, I have stayed in many hotels and inns; I have seen and felt that it is genuine attention but I have never bought attention as warm as that of Candida and Diago. I was amazed by the simple and beautiful decoration, and by how clean and tidy all the spaces were. I think Diago (the multifaceted manager) is a magician, he has a gift that God has given him and he has used that gift to serve the guests. If I ever go back to Espinho I will not hesitate to stay in this charming place. I loved every second I was here. Thank you for all the attention...

This Baroque-style mansion, which has a chapel dating back to 1618, is a real wonder. This is a family home, keeping its character and charm of yesteryear intact, where everyone can retreat peacefully under the trees or by the pool. Inês and her husband are always available and you will get good advice from them - you can discover in Marco de Canaveses an excellent little restaurant: the "Bodeguita do Bom Retiro" - but they will also let you live your life. Hosts will be able to shop, prepare meals in the kitchen, and feel at home with longtime friends. The house is surrounded by vines and hills. The breakfast with scrambled eggs and fruit is generous, the jams and lemonade are exquisite. From this large residence you can one day visit the Douro Valley and another the city of Guimarães, birthplace of Portugal, both classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site...

Very beautiful space and architecture well integrated into the landscape. Be careful with the details and a very comfortable bed. All safety and disinfection equipment prepared and easy to access. The employees, Bruna and Isabel, very friendly and available, always attentive. Communication with Vânia also went very well and I appreciate your attention. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Marta's from the moment we arrived! Marta is very organized, helpful and very generous with sharing her house and all its amenities with guests. We played ping pong, did some yoga, made excellent breakfasts and even got to pick fresh lemons from her tree! Our room was spacious and had everything we needed, Marta was happy to let us leave luggage after checkout time since we had a late flight. Hope to make it back here one day!

Amazing 400 year old home, has always been in the family. The outside garden and pool are beautiful and peaceful. Small town near by with good quaint restaurants . About one hour from Douro Valley by a beautiful drive through back country roads. Highly recommend it

A 5 star guesthouse. Big house, big room, big living area, big and fully equipped kitchen. Can't ask for more. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the hostel and would stay again. It was focused around the surfing in the morning which was great, Marco is a great teacher and you get plenty of time on the waves. Raquel is a lovely host and the food is excellent, there's a bit of a lack of local things to do and places to eat within walking distance but the nearest city isn't too far if you want to explore in the afternoons/evenings. Would totally reccomend the hostel to anyone wanting to learn how to surf, many thanks : )

You'll love Quinta Trindade. The surroundings are peaceful with amazing views, and the house was remodeled with impecable taste and attention to detail. The cleaning standards are excellent, breakfast was delicious and Pierrick was really friendly, helpful and communicative: it felt like home from the very start. Wether you wish to go for a hike around the area or just relax and enjoy Quinta Trindade's amazing outdoor areas and common spaces, you're in for a treat. 100% recommended, will definitely be coming back!

This place was a great end to our road trip! Beautiful clean accommodation, lovely hosts and welcome, incredible breakfast, great pool and all just 30min from Porto. We felt really comfortable. The hosts recommended us a great restaurant on request, which was great, delicious, local. Unfortunately, we were only here for one night and would have liked at least one more. We would definitely come back!

I enjoyed the Watermark very much. Hosts Rui and Ricado were always accommodating. Gave me tips in the area. Furthermore, you were always available (for questions) via text. The place was clean and you could connect with other and do things together. The surf and skate lessons with Luís were particularly good. 🤙🏼☀️ It was very good that you only had to walk a few steps around the beach from the property with the surfboard. 🏄‍♂️ The week in Espinho was very worthwhile for me. Stay with Maria was perfect, she took perfect care of “lost foreigners”, she explained everything to us, recommended walks in the neighbourhood, restaurants, where to park, where to go, gave us many tips what to see and even knew about some festivals going on. She is very nice, but not overstepping boundaries or privacy. Marias place is very nice, spacey, very clean. Mainly we appreciated private bathroom, really nice neighborhood and friendliness of Maria, we felt like staying at friends house. Thank you a lot for having us for that few days

A great experience in Arouca! Cozy, modern, well-maintained space. Very comfortable studio and the kitchette is ideal for a quick meal, after Paiva Walkways. Service with attention to every detail. Upon arrival, we were surprised by the famous convent sweets of a local pastry shop, the .Come. 5 star stay! No doubt an experience to repeat. Nice work!

We had a great time at Ann and her husband's place. They are lovely hosts, who made us feel very comfortable. The pool is a big plus. It feels like home. Above all, do not change anything and continue to make the guests who are visiting your beautiful home happy. we would have liked to continue the stay. Everything was perfect.

A very cozy place, you feel right at home even though you share common areas with people you don't know, everyone is very friendly !!!

A really lovely room just like the photos. The family were all very welcoming and helpful. They allowed us to check in early as the room was ready and looked after our bags on our last day .We had a fantastic meal one evening in their restaurant, not to be missed . The only down side was it’s a reasonable walk to the old town of Porto but if you don’t mind that it’s a lovely place to stay

Edgarda is a wonderful host. He waited for us late at night because our transfer was delayed. He recommended places to eat. The apartment has everything we needed for a week-long stay. Our room had a private bathroom, with toiletries, towels, and a hair dryer. In the kitchen, there's a coffee maker, an oven, a toaster, a microwave, and all the dishes and silverware you need. There's a washer in the house. The apartment is shared with other residents. There has never been a problem with free parking on nearby streets. There is a very large shopping mall next door. Quiet neighborhood, no noise at night. The room has air conditioning and a large TV. There was a supply of water and wine in the fridge for us. Thank you Edgar for the stay.

Len and Isabelle are natural hosts. From the moment we arrived to departure, the pair made us to feel welcomed and at home. Their location is a true BnB and I found myself in peace during the stay. If it was the roosters crowing in the distance or my imagination chasing the thought of who built the home in the 1700's, I truly enjoyed this stay.
